When it comes to fine sippers to savor, spirits aficionados have long reached for premium whiskeys or Cognacs. But it may be time to add a new category to the sipping canon: tequila.
Uniquely Aged in Napa Valley Merlot & Cabernet Barrels, This Special Edition Marks Dulce Vida’s Five-Year Market Anniversary.
I liked this one. It’s well-aged with rich oak influence from the wine barrels. It has notes of caramel, dried fruit, and spices. The agave still peeks through, but the barrel influence is front and center. A good sipper with the added proof that shines.
