This tequila has a good start in both aroma and flavor but it lacks on finish. Nice cream soda or caramel taste mix with cinnamon, agave and butterscotch making it a little too sweet at finish. I think it is artificial sweet

Smoother than the Reposado, best in their line up. Bold nose of creamy vanilla, carmel, agave, and oak. On the palate: Warm and balanced with a long finish. This does not disappoint, except for the price. Much better tequillas are to be had at this price point.

One of the best I've had ever. I'm still only a few years in, but this is incredible.

Strong chemical nose when first poured. Opens after a few minutes.. Generally, not as pleasant as the reposado. Light on agave. Not on top of my list for sipping but would make a good tequila "Old Fashioned" base.

Been enjoying Tequilas for a few years and like to sip. Hence prefer the Anejo or extra A. Really like 1800 and Tequilla Ley.925. Recently tried Casamigos as Diageo bought the brand to the UK. Completely blown away by vanilla and caramel fragrance, smooth taste, followed by a long vanilla, caramel after taste. Even the shot glasses have the aroma a day later. Already gone thru a bottle...next one please. Bit Pricey though.

Super creamy carmelo flavor but predictable and a bit boring.

So smooth, so tasty...but lacking complexity under strong vanilla overtones. Sometimes I just want something sweet and tasty - this is a good option.

Aroma of wood and caramel, no discernable agave scent. Taste mirrors scent. If this were included in a blind flight of whiskies one wouldn't stop and wonder why a tequila was in there. Very bland. (NOM 1416)

Sweet and smooth... a little bourbonesque with some notes of agave still detectable

less vanilla than the reposado, a nice deep oaky caramel flavor with earthy tones. A rich after taste with mild vanilla hints

The tasting note that’s stood out to me was caramel popcorn. There was a nuttiness, vanilla, and caramel finish that led me to that conclusion. Overpriced unfortunately.

Smooth as silk with butterscotch undertones. When I can afford it, I buy it- Simples!

Extraordinarily smooth, vanilly, delightful. Not sure if it pairs quite right with chorizo, that might be harshing my review a wee bit. Quite sweet, I think I detect a vague hint of spice on the finish?

good but not as good as the repo. to me it has more of an alcohol smell and taste. Not as smooth as the repo in my mind. still easy to drink but I like the DJ repo better.

Extra ordinary tequila. Amazing nose with intense vanilla and agave aroma that surprises considering this is an anejo. Creamy texture, full bodied tequila with vanilla, agave and sweet flower notes. It has a long and peppery finish that is usually found in traditional blancos. This tequila won't disappoint you.

Don't waste your money on this. I used to think this was good tequila until I learned this is full of flavor and color additives and did a side by side comparison with something good. This tastes nothing like real good tequila. You're better off getting El Tesoro, Fortaleza, or G4.
