Mexican 40% abv. version, marbete is from 2007, no codes nor lot numbers seen, tasted on 10-9-23. Color: yellow. Aroma: initially it had impregnating wood notes, glad I waited for 30 minutes because the wood notes softened and sweet cooked agave notes appear! Light acidity, a touch of caramel, red apples, light black pepper spiciness, light citrus. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and acidic balance. Finish is medium to long, sweet cooked agave with red apple and good sweet sour and acidic balanced notes persist.
