Sickly sweet artificial vanilla aromas and flavors. Even if you actively want additives in your tequila, you can do better than this.

Aroma and taste include mint, cream soda, uncooked agave, herbal and cake. Finish is too sweet and leaves and aftertaste of astringe flavor.

Aromas of mint, cinnamon and green agave that open up to cake batter. Sweet mint flavors in the mouth with a super sweet finish. Astringency in the aftertaste.

Sweet, chalky, floral with not much bite to speak of. I taste some agave in there but it’s buried way under all that other stuff. Not my drink of choice

The nose is extremely pleasant while also being clearly artificial. It smells overwhelmingly of vanilla, extremely buttery, and almost of cake batter. Cinnamon and caramel though not as prominent. There are some hints of lime along with a vegetal smell. There's also a woody scent which I'll say are wood shavings. I cannot emphasize how it doesn't taste authentic yet it's not unpleasant. It tastes pretty much like what it tastes albeit with the agave flavors being extremely muted with the downside that the taste of alcohol being more prominent. Vanilla is the most prominent taste followed by caramel then buttery notes. Tastes more like a pleasant candy. Some earthiness in the back palate goes nicely with the cinnamon that leads to a pleasantly understated black pepper finish. Whether you like the finish or not is up to individual taste. This stuff is extremely smooth and makes for an excellent shot. It's not complex but it is very accessible. My main gripe with Casamigos is the price point. It feels way too pricey for a Tequila that solely relies on its artificial flavoring. Still, it's not a bad treat. If you value traditional Tequila stay away but if you're up for a sweet Tequila this isn't bad.

I bought it on sale, I would try the añejo at full price.

I’m a sucker for smooth and sweet when it comes to tequila. This checks both marks.

A nice blanco. Sweet agave with citrus, vanilla, and pepper. Mild and smooth overall, but over priced.

It's really worth a bit more to get the Reposado of you're buying it to sip. This will do, but the top two are a treat.

First tastes are fantastic .. go back for a second glass and it tastes like an entirely different (and unpleasant) tequila. I can’t quite explain this but it happened every single time (over 5 or 6 tries) .. decent enough first glass .. second it crashed like the Hindenburg and went back to it several times through the bottle and happened every time. Only spirit has had this affect ... Rating is for second taste .. which is closer to a 55.. but didn’t want to dismiss the first glass.

I initially smell vanilla with keylime zest (cupcake anyone?). Mellow sipper with nice warmth on a long finish

Has vanilla-like additive and maybe some lime additives as well? Smells like lime and vanilla. They are fairly subtle however. Once you get past that, I will admit this tastes pretty good. So if you don’t care about additives and you’re not looking for complexity, this is great. I can’t fault people for buying it. It’s much less offensive than some other brands with added flavor. Ridiculously easy to drink - but not a lot of interesting things going on either.

Sweet and smooth, if that's how you like your blanco (and some nights I do). Vanilla covers up any other flavors.

This tequila went from being a perfect tequila to being one of the nastiest after they changed their way of making it. They can deny it all they want but this tequila is not made the same. That taste is 100% clearly different.
