Didn’t love this one, I was expecting a natural progression from the Blanco but the taste was a bit hollow. I’m not detecting additives but there is something odd going on with the flavour, take this review with a huge grain of salt, I’m sampling out of a 50ml bottle.

A middle of the pack repo, smooth sipper. Nothing overly complicated.

NOM 1258 produced in Fábrica La Magdalena Rancho La Esmeralda, 38% abv., 1 liter version. Marbete is from 1998 or prior. Tasted on 12-29-23. Color: yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, citrus, light orange peel, earthy, minty, aromatic green vegetal notes, light anise, caramelizad orange peel, balanced and quite complex. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, slightly dusty and more subtle than on the nose. Finish is medium, cooked agave with a hint of citrus and earthy notes persist but not too long.

The reposado has a weird smell right from the beginning but it’s smooth from start to end lots of vanilla and caramel throughout. You can taste the additives it’s a nice sipper .

Light amber color in the glass. Aroma of cooked agave and minerals. Flavor of cooked agave, caramel and barrel spice. Must be from the French oak barrel. Medium finish.

Too much alcohol effervescence. And Bob Emmons suggested that this tequila make was an "up and comer". I'm disappointed :-(

While I recognize how Wrong it is to make fun of prisons (you can't drink tequila there after all), this tequila is sort of like,"go directly to jail. Do not collect your taste before heading to the finish". Dos mujeres no quiero tres mujeres????.

Review #155 - Tres Mujeres Tequila Reposado

You first see the bottle and you think...is this a tequila, or a sassy canteen? Maroon pleather and leopard print doesn't necessarily scream authenticity from the highlands of Jalisco, but like I've always said: If the juice inside is good...I don't real
