Licorice on the nose with alcohol in the mix. Cinnamon and licorice on the palate with a touch of pepper on the finish. Not bad, but I wouldn’t rush out to get it.

The claimed cognac barrel aging is a major mistake. Either the Tequila started off bad from the start or cognac was still in the barrels when they filled them.

Riazul Reposado is from a great line. The anejo is consistently one of the highest rated tequilas out there. I'd been really looking forward to trying the last one from a great line of tequilas.
