Strong raw agave flavor and aroma. A very simple blanco with a bit of heat and alcohol. Overall this was disappointing as I have enjoyed the other offerings from this brand.

Nose: Tons of agave. Maybe a hint of smoke. Herbal. Detect mint, apples, pear and minerals. A floral note. Silky mouth feel. Nice pepper to help balance out the slightly sweet notes. Spicy. Finish of filberts and fruit.

Nice aroma, and great oily mouth feel. Flavor a bit too sweet, but overall pleasant.

tasted from the regular bottle version at 38% abv. There is a crystal bottle with box set that sells for 10 times the cost of the plain bottle I bought in PV. This is a very spicy, tangy blanco with a bunch of agave and pepper on the tongue. Nice long finish with some alcohol numbing.

Mexican 38% abv., square bottle version, No. de serie: 31966, marbete is from 2007, tasted on 4-15-24. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, hint of fruitiness, light acidity, hint of earthiness. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, light black pepper, good sweet sour and acidic balance. Finish is medium to medium long, light sweet cooked agave with a hint of fruitiness, a hint of black pepper spiciness and a hint of earthiness persists.

LOT: H084 Qualified blindly in tasting between: José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Platino and Casa Dragones blanco View: very little adhesion of tears. Completely transparent Freshly served; Aroma: cooked agave, lemon grass, mineral, a little salty. Taste: very discreet and light, a little like lemon peel, a little sweetness of cooked agave. Aftertaste is slightly citrusy and a little spicy like black pepper. I let it rest for 10 minutes to oxygenate and open up flavors and aromas: Aroma: I don't think there are any changes. Flavor: No changes. It's not disgusting but I wouldn't recommend it either.

I really enjoyed this one as a green agave flavor hits you it fades to a citrus minerality that is very pleasant for the price do yourself a favor and grab one!

A light aroma of sweet cooked agave, there is more agave in the flavor. This has a nice peppery kick and a long finish. Good stuff!

This bottle looks a little different than the picture here. It has a dark blue label. Aroma: lots of agave and a hint of alcohol. Flavor: agave and herbs with a nice long, oily finish.
