This tequila suprised me, in a good way. It smells similar to the taste. I got a lot of barrel on the nose and mouth. Aroma was thick with wood, oak, dried fruit, cherries, leather and dried cranberry. It had a mild, natural sweetness to it. It was fairly complex. I got chocolate, maple and tobacco right before the (short) finish. It’s quite amazing.

More rich, sweet caramel aroma than the repo, dry barrel notes, similar flavor but a little watery in the mouth for the age (14 years!). Short but lingering finish. Enjoyable, especially for barrel heads.

Super pleasant to drink. Aroma is fantastic, lots of toasted caramel and oak. A tiny bit of dried fruit and toasted nuts, too. Lovely. Flavor follows the aroma, with some natural sweetness that isn't overpowering. Finish is actually quite short and simple (which is a big plus for many people), but I wish it would linger around for a while longer. Overall super solid tequila. It's a Mexico-only product, so if you spot this while in Mexico, grab it - you won't be disappointed when you get home.

Lote: LTA027. Marbete is from 2019. Color: slightly dark yellow. Aroma: piloncillo, butterscotch, slightly acidic, sweet cooked agave, also some slight green vegetable notes, the agave sweetness is like the cooked agave piña still in the oven. Slight oxidized copper smell that goes away after 15 minutes. Very slightly astringent. Palate: sweet cooked agave, sweetness maybe from bourbon casks too, piloncillo, but feels natural, green aspects, minty. Finish is medium to long, some agave and more bourbon sweetness persists.

Nice oak influence on the nose. Bakery shop notes…. Rich flavors of roasted agave, key lime, toffee and oak. Lingering sweet finish of toffee and vanilla. Great pour!

This was the smoothest Tequila I have ever tasted. I brought a bottle when I was in Mexico and I can’t seem to find this in the states or in the duty free in the Mexican airport.

Went on a tequila tour in Cozumel Mexico and they had this 7 year tequila and the 12 year. The 7 and the twelve were very similar but the 12 was so smooth it was almost TOO smooth. I love the aroma it smells amazing and the aftertaste will leave you wanting more. Quality product only available in certain parts of Mexico. Would DEFINITELY recommend even to experienced drinkers. Will not regret it. Would also like to add since it is made with 100% blue agave, it’s alcohol content is 38% not 40%. Real tequila made with agave tends to have slightly lower alcohol content

This particular tequila is aged for 12 years, has no extra additives, and a smooth flavor.
