Bright, fresh floral and citrus aroma. Spiciness of blanco remains but is tamed down and joined with vanilla. Finish is much longer, fills the mouth and the back of the throat. The aging adds something to this one. Definitely prefer the reposado to the blanco.

40% abv. LOTE2SH, I estimate that this bottle I am tasting is prior to the bottle shown on the App because it doesn’t have the USDA organic seal, though it mentions Master Tequilero and a signature by Don Raul. Tasted on 5-1-24. Color: bright yellow. Aroma: cooked agave with a hint of sweetness, hint of aromatic green vegetal notes, acidity, hint of citrus, hint of fruitiness, it has a mineral aroma that is present, persistent but doesn’t bother, Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, on the mouth the mineral sensation is also present and feels almost metallic and is slightly dominating at the end. Finish is medium to long, light cooked agave, hint of fruitiness, light acidity, light aromatic green vegetal notes with the mineral sensation persists. After tasting this older bottling from NOM1480 I feel it quite different from recent bottlings. I like this older bottling much more…

Great nose, appealing taste, and decent finish for the price. Good agave throughout with spice, sweetness, oak, and a little alcohol bite. This opens up with some air and is just a good repo. Would buy again.
