This is a typical example of a NOM 1438 brand. All unnaturally sweet, cloying, fake fruit, vanilla cake batter. Pepper is present on the finish on all expressions with this line. They get sweeter as you move from Blanco, Repo to Anejo. At the point of tasting this, NOM 1438 has 185 brands. What sets them all apart? The Name and bottle design. If you like sweet, these will satisfy you. For those looking for traditional, well made tequila this is a hard pass

A little artificial taste, sweet but not over powering. Pleasant Cooked Agave. Not the best but nor the worst either

Love the aroma of this tequila, Vanilla caramel, sweet. You get some agave overall very nice. I like it.

Clearly additives but nice taste and I wouldn't pass it up if offered. just costs too much unless you want the bottle therefore knocked it down a couple points.

Rating after my second taste.. This one seems to have. at least, less additives than the Repo. I get more of the agave and oak, still a good amount of vanilla, dried fruit in there too and I swear a bit of pear. The finish is still a little pepper with just enough alcohol burn to know its not overly manipulated.

Nice aroma, vanilla and caramel but not overwhelming. Starts well but the finish is a little abrupt, pepper and alcohol hit fast. Can’t speak on pricing as it was a gift but would pay maybe $80-$90 and feel good about it.

Lovely soft aroma. I enjoyed the flavors of agave up front and sweet like vanilla and Carmel throughout. Smooth to sip. Not too much heat in the mouth or throat.
