NOM 1440 | Slight improvement with the repo, that oily finish still dominates the experience which is too bad. I remember really liking this back in the day, maybe I’ve changed or maybe this has?

very nice nose of butter, almonds and oak. sweet taste of front. no burn with great agave taste. butter, slight spice, with smooth easy end. much better than the blanco which was a little to aggressive.

I get a very sweet almost caramel nose, not a fan of the body however. Very acidic which makes it hard to get any other flavors to stand out. Solid finish that lingers in your mouth for a bit. On sale for $30 is not a bad deal although in this price range there are better.

Have had several bottles over the years. Liked to sip rather than mix it......but got a bad bottle last time around...very musty.

NOM 1440 | Vanilla, lime, faint oak on the nose. Sweet agave, lime and vanilla flavors. Citrus finish with note of pepper. Not much going on here. Just your basic sipper.

NOM 1440 | Have a customer who absolutely loves this tequila, to be honest I’m not the biggest fan but I do think it’s smooth. Apparently it completely changed the taste of the “chilli coconut” I would take this as a shot but there’s a little burn.

Nice vanilla and roasted agave on the nose. Taste of buttery carmel, oak, and vanilla Not harsh, but not overly smooth. This Reposado tries to be bolder than the whole of its parts.

Sweet oak, citrus and vanilla on the nose. Cooked agave. An oily earthly butterscotch with fruit in the mouth. Grapefruit, in the finish. No hint of spice. If you like tequilas without the balance of alcohol or spice then this is a good choice.

NOM 1440 | Smells a little medicine and alcohol. Not completely un-doable at its price point. Fairly smooth, some vanilla, some bright pepper. Finish is a little pepper followed with a lot of medicine, alcohol. Almost cough syrup. For $35.00 it’s ok. Not horrible. I’ll use the rest for mixed drinks. I’d recommend Espolon Repo over this.

NOM 1440 | A more distinct aroma and structure to the center of the palate. This is made with Azul Agave and the quality of that alone makes it worthy. It’s dry and crisp and lean.

Aroma is fine but boring. Nothing special. Much burn. Not much complexity. Sorry Sammy Hagar. Overpriced.

NOM 1440 | you can feel Vanilla aroma first. taste is sweet but not strong. vanilla, agave, and little bit alcohol flavour you will feel.

Sometimes I just want a clean tequila with a light nose and finish and typical flavors. This reposado fits that spot with a bit on the pepper too. Not a top shelf but certainly a decent sipper or would do nicely in a margarita.
