This isn't a tequila you want to sip on but it is great for making a spicy margarita. Very strong pepper smell but a much more mellow slow burn flavor. Tastes like it has real jalapenos in it as opposed to just added spice.

I was initially unwilling to try this because of the pepper infusion and the aroma out of the bottle. But what the hell I have it a chance and low and behold it wasn’t what I expected at all. It’s actually quite smooth and tasty. Ignore the pepper smell and labeling because it really doesn’t exist. What you get after getting over the advertising is a decent tequila. Usually I would pass on on any infusion but this and the dulce Vida honey is good for an occasional drink

A very interesting spirit. On its own it has a very unique flavor. A good Tequila infusion to include in a tasting. In a cocktail it really shines and had lots of possibilities.
