Citrus welcomes with agave and a trail of earthy green herbs. Dry finish. Nice to see the new additive-free designation.

Aroma: a lot of cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla up front. There’s a green element that lingers. Definitely get cooked agave and a bit of mint. Flavor: a lot of cooked agave and mint. Cinnamon really shines through. There’s a hint of citrus as well. On the sweeter side but drinks very clean. Finish lingers for a while and reminds me of big red chewing gum. So much cinnamon sweetness on this blanco. Overall I think this is a really solid blanco. It’s a little on the sweeter side which I think would make it perfect for someone looking to make drinks or just getting into tequila while looking for an additive free option.

Nada.. no agave detected… Need to revisit another bottle, seemed like it was agave water. (Poor storage)

This needs to sit awhile and open up. Nose: sharp with some cooked agave, floral, and sweet anise Flavor: earthy, black pepper, hint of tropical fruit and natural sweetness Finish: medium finish that is peppery, but has a burnt rubber taste in the background

Sharp, pungent and spicy roast agave, peppercorn, and alcohol and finishes with some natural sweetness.

One of the purest blancos I’ve tried

Aroma is very nice wet agave- anise- vegetal- citrus grapefruit and grass…herbal. On the palate it’s a wonderful cooked agave- minerality- grass-herbal basil- grapefruit- pepper- slight numbing- and maybe olive. Finished is nice- pepper- spice agave with a herbal grassiness lasting about 2 minutes. Slightly numbing.

On the nose the blanco is clean and simple, I get soft cooked agave, citrus, with a hint of mint and anise. On the palate, I get that agave, mint, and some citrus, with some salinity and earthiness with a slightly astringent aftertaste almost like biting into grapefrut rind.

Mexican 40% abv., round bottle with a blue plastic twist cap and fun stopper, the top part of the bottle is blue and the bottom is transparent, looks like an older version, no lot code nor bottling date, acquired recently, tasted on 6-7-24. Aromas: salty cooked agave, briny, slightly earthy, light acidity, hint of white pepper, it becomes brinier as time goes by and dominates. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, briny aromas and flavor dominates, but after 30 minutes it becomes a tad sweet. Finish is medium to medium long, light salty cooked agave with a hint of sweetness at the very end, hint of earthiness with a hint of acidity persists.
