At Señor tequila. Sweet cooked agave, oak barrel, alcohol. Palate: honey, wood, oak, pepper. Finish med, with lots of oak and honey. $35 neat is overpriced

Toasted notes. Oak aroma. Very good agave flavors. Excellent!

Heavy honeyed oak, roasted agave, smoke, cinnamon, vanilla cream, vegetal earth, subtle clove spice, and white pepper. Taste follows the nose with a bit of black cherry bubblegum on the back palate. Great long finish, very smooth with medium viscosity. Very interesting but not worth the coin. Got it as a gift and will break it out to make friends smile.

This is a fine crafted XA, full bodied, great little nuances of cooked agave, caramel, vanilla, citrus balance. Great bottling, and story from the original tequilla house.

Aroma is amazing, just full of oak, caramel, cherry, and vanilla. Agave flavor is not fully lost but close. The finish is nice and oily but here’s where this lost points...it kinda disappoints. For such a “special” product the finish is a bit boring. Very good XA don’t get me wrong, it’s just overpriced.

One of my favorites. Excellent sipping tequila. Let it breath for 10 minutes and enjoy. Subtle vanilla and Smokey notes. Very clean finish.

Carmel notes. Harsh taste. Not smooth. Would definitely not recommend. Was suggested to me in Mexico. Sampled and was shocked at taste. In my opinion it’s not a sipping tequila.

It was ok. I expected both more and less refinement. More because it was a extra Añejo and less because it’s a José Cuervo product

Jose Cuervo Reserva is a bourbon drinker's tequila. Not sweet nor shy, this tequila is oaky with a pronounced caramel character and vanilla notes.

Single glass at Mezcal Harsh taste. Strong alcohol. Burn throat. Disappointing

Overall I was a little skeptical about anything Jose Cuervo because of past experiences. I have to say this wasn’t bad at all. The aroma was pleasant; the flavor had more than other of my favorite Extra Anejos but was not too overbearing. The finish was smooth; I picked this up at the duty-free shop while traveling, so the price was a bargain.

Sitting on the blanco patio, asked for a couple flights but they didn’t have them. Decided on trying the reserva. Get decision- delicious! Smooth, flavourful, a great value on happy hour!

VERY GOOD. Complex and balanced all the way around. Agave, Caramel, slight pepper, oak, extremely smooth with long finish

Much more alcohol notes than most extra anejos where there are more Carmel and vanilla notes.

A reliable go to when you want a balanced, aged tequila. I have always been a fan of the barrel influence and easy butterscotch flavours going on.

This almost like drinking a bourbon. Hardly any agave notes. I’m sure that that was the intention of Cuervo. This rating is for The Rolling Stones edition. The finish is actually decent.
