Nice package, which is not the real test of a good tequila, with that being said it’s not a stand out blanco. Balanced yet slight citrus notes finish is fine
Alcohol forward for me. Light citrus (lime) and green agave. The finish hits with some pepper but no complexity. I haven't been impressed with this brand, which is surprising coming from one of the best distilleries 1123. I will have to revisit, maybe with a different bottle
Fresh agave, fresh grass after rain on the nose with a touch of lime. Cooked agave, big kick of pepper, medium finish with just a slight lingering heat on the roof of the mouth.
Legit blanco with no nonsense, the only part that leaves me wanting is the aftertaste but I’m sure that’s subjective. I love this distillery and everything they do, I wish this style would catch on.
Softer than the Cascahuin branded blanco. I attribute some of this to this bottle being open and half full for several years. It happens.
-tasted blind- Sharp, Spicy nose. Moderate alcohol presence. Nice mouthfeel. Sweet/spicy palate entry with good balance. Sweet creamy finish builds toward spiciness.
Very subtle on the nose, nice to pair with starters eg: guac, coco shrimp, ribs. Very smooth light finish
Fresh crisp green apples, a little peperry, smooth finish

Mexican national 35% abv. version, lote 276, bottled on 16-12-2022. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, slightly minty, fresh, it is aromatic just too subtle. Palate: light sweet cooked agave, light mint, fresh, at the very end a light bitterness emerges but doesn’t bother. Finish is short, sweet cooked agave notes persist.

If this tequila is chased with a lime it will bring out every flavor in the lime in a very surprising way.
Might be a few dollars over priced at $30.

$19.99 the funky “cork” leaked after opening, Probably why the price was cut in half. Update, 2nd bottle also has a piece of shit seal after opening. Luckily I have a pile of corks you couldn’t jump over!
