LOTE: 002TB L5189J NOM 1111 Haven't poured this one in a while. Not often mentioned but definitely worth sipping on if you can find it. Tasting notes below for those interested. LOTE: 002TB L5189J 40% ABV NOM 1111 Slight warming and drying initial nasal impact. Aroma of cooked agave, wet grass, herbal, dried flowers and citrus. Oily mouthfeel with generous alcohol. Flavor profile is balanced with sweet cooked agave, cinnamon, butter and honey. The medium to long finish has lingering fresh cracked pepper and lime zest on the retro nasal. Definitely hard to find on Long Island NY. The liquor store I found this in charged me the same price as Olmeca Altos blanco, therefore a bargain at $25. Love the metal side plates. It's a fun blanco. Buy it if you find it

NOM 1111. Aroma: agave, citrus, mint, lemon, pepper. Flavor: agave, alcohol, pepper, lemon, citrus, mint and grass. Finish is short with a very little heat. There is some sweetness.

Unremarkable nose, little agave. Moderate alcohol, trends to fruit at the top of the glass. Short arrival with some agave. Entry fades quickly, with the mid palate giving earthy artichoke heart and asparagus. The finish is the best part, mildly bitter with a nice white pepper tingle which doesn't last quite as long as it needs to in order to redeem it. Overall I was not impressed. Olmeca Altos is half the price and much easier to find, and probably a bit better as well. I cannot recommend Tezon blanco unless you find it at a blowout price.

Wow, lots of earthy aromas and flavors. Grass, citrus, lemon and mint in the nose. Cooked agave, mint and sweet lemon in the mouth. Butter in the back with pepper in the finish.

Nothing noteworthy on the nose. Sweet entry with tons of mint and agave. Lots of mint/pepper on the finish.

Traditional methods combined with lightness of tequila from Jalisco make this a standout. Fruit and citrus notes and smooth, cool finish make this perfect for novice tequila drinkers. For it on sale at less than $30 so great price
