Earth, cinnamon, caramel, citrus, coffee, and cooked agave aromas—these are just some of the rich aromas and flavors found in Don Fulano Imperial, an excellent example of an extra añejo tequila done right.
Grover and Scarlet of TasteTequila.com review Don Fulano's Imperial 5-year Añejo.
Aroma : Fruits and earth predominate. There is the lightest touch of cinnamon and agave. Taste : Light fruits with caramel and vanilla make up the sweet side of this tequila. The less prominent, spicier notes can be attributed to light oak and black pepper. The texture is very well rounded. Finish : Medium in length with a little more spice than the initial taste. The higher price makes this lose some points in value considering there are other, even better extra añejos that cost less.
