Vanilla, oak, agave, grapefruit — approachable drinker, albeit a bit sweet for me

Tequila in a wine bottle. Aroma: vanilla, oak, berries, cooked agave, spices, zest. Palate; agave, tropical fruits, berries, lemon, cherry, wood, and dark chocolate. Finish: short and no burn, spices and agave.

NOM 1426 | What a big difference a different NOM can make!! All the nutty flavours have given way to minty sweetness and a bulky finish. Too bad, the 1503 juice was great stuff.

NOM 1426 | Marzipan, custard, baking spice

Pleasant yet subtle aroma of baked agave, fruit and mild spice. Medium to thick body leads to a complex flavor profile of agave, cherry, wood, vanilla and caramel. Well done.

NOM 1503 | NOM 1503.

The aroma has hints of caramel and vanilla. The flavor is peppery, sweet, and slightly metallic. The finish is nice and smooth. Kind of interesting but the metallic flavor looses it for me.

A little underwhelming, I'm getting some wood, Some salinity and not much else. I did just get over being sick so maybe that's what's happening. I will try back in a few and update. I am getting a nice oily finish and it stays with you for a minute, so I'm pleased with that.

NOM 1426 | Complex. Notes of cooked agave, oak spice, vanilla, and herbs. Green olives, thyme, and delicate citrus orange blossoms. The texture is round and plush. Very friendly.

NOM 1426 | Boring! Not much going on here. The nose is average, not robust or memorable. Same with the taste being on the lame and uneventful side. Paid $45, but IMO a $35 price would fair for this Tequila. Partida Anejo far better!

NOM 1503 | Found old NOM 1503 bottle on sale in WA for $34! Aromas of agave, butterscotch & oak. Flavors of agave, butter, cinnamon, clove & pepper. Long peppery finish.

NOM 1426 | Old label. Nice stuff with notes of cooked agave, maple syrup, green chili peppers, cinnamon, chocolate, cherries, almonds, and butterscotch.

banana bread aroma. not an exciting flavour.

Nice aroma of vanilla and cooked agave. Missing some oak from the aroma, but present on the palate and in the finish. A little warm but overall pleasant.

Aromas of cola, oak, and agave are first, followed by caramel and vanilla. There is also some butter, fruit, and baking spices. Nice overall, but muted compared to the reposado. The flavors are black pepper and oak, with a spiciness from white pepper. Agave and whiskey follow along with cinnamon, cloves, and fruit. It also has an herbal quality that lends some bitterness.

Good taste but not much happening with the finish.

Lovely sipper, great for bourbon drinkers. would be a great after dinner drink.

The wallflower cousin of yours that never said an interesting thing in his life, one day he walks into your house with a Robert Graham shirt on, and you're like...what?? Maybe there is something behind those still eyes. This tequila does nothing to impress to start with (yet nothing wrong either) but opens up in the last moment for a finish like an orchid in a Thai forest.

Strong agave flavor, oak, vanilla and fruit. Finish lasts long, oily. Not overly complex but good.

Not a lot of character for an anejo but not bad with a nice agave flavor for lovers of such
