The nose on this is fucking fantastic!! Herbal, minty, cinnamon, butter, and loads of cooked agave! Nice punch on the front end with that signature white pepper of tequilas, real tequilas from Atotonilco. While not super complex, this tequila is big, bold, beautiful, honest, and true. Crisp and herbaceous on the front with a mid palate of butter and lemon/orange meringue along with a touch of cinnamon-sugar toast. Long, dry, slightly bitter, but with a very earthy finish. Definitely a must have for those who love traditional blancos!!
Very Surprised, loved it. Was definitely herbal. A great budget HP
This is nice. A little hot but not unbearable Mouthfeel nice and viscous Nose- a little matalitic, cooked agave, fresh blade of grass, maraschino, cherry Taste- agave, mint, earthiness, vegetable, pepper
Great value driven still Strength. Herbal, mint, clean high proof blanco. Let it open up
Very nice high proof! Agave and vegetal notes greet. The big surprise is it doesn’t drink like a 110, less heat and more creaminess than I expected. This one is less grassy and overall better than the regular Blanco. But the aged expressions like the Repo are still the star for me.
sept 16, 2023 Suerte h.p. Nose: cooked agave, alcohol/heat, pepper, funk (lactic). Let it sit at least 30 mins and it gets better. More agave comes thru and less alcohol on the nose Palate: cooked agave, pepper, cinnamon Finish: warmth and sweet with heat that lingers, which I like. Notes: you really need to let this one open up. huge difference!!!
Initial pour: Grassy and vegetal on the nose still. Palate follows through with traditional notes of the regular Blanco. I’m a sucker for HP but I’ll grab others. This certainly isn’t bad by any means, the grassiness just isn’t my favorite. Edit: this definitely needs time to open. The vegetal tones down on the nose and palate after opening. I do enjoy the pepper and heat on the finish. I also get the creaminess.
This still strength really brings down the grassiness that the original blanco has and replaces it with more agave. There is definitely some heat but it’s not overpowering and easy to sip. As it opens up, a nice creaminess really comes through. Great job Suerte team.
Fairly easy to do for such a high proof. Lots of earthy tons with mint and anise. Pick up if you are a fan of high proofs.
I like this a lot more than the 80 proof blanco. On nose, getting cement, stone fruit, honey. Taste starts off with sweet buttery agave followed by vegetal grassy citrussy notes, then a sharp jalapeño bite that dissipates. There's some salinity in there with lingering stone notes on the finish. Sips easy for the proof.
Aromas: agave, citrus, herbal, vegetal Taste: agave, herbal, vegetal, citrus and pepper Finish: at first burn but after the first sip goes down pretty smooth
Agave BOMB on the nose with grass and citrus. Much less alcohol than I expected. The first thing to hit the palate is that huge hit of agave with mint and grass. Finish is long with good heat
Let it sit for 20 minutes before nosing and sipping. Forward cooked sweet agave on nose with orange and lemon peel. No bitterness on the palate. Lots of cooked sweet agave in liquid form with some white pepper on the finish. I enjoyed the thick viscous mouthfeel. Pedro Hernandez Barra did his thing with this.
Thick, syrupy, spicy, husky, peppery. Smooth, pleasant, lots of dark roasted agave. Bought this bottle after hearing a lot of hype about it, and it did not disappoint.
First time having this one. On the nose get a sweetness, cooked agave, and a lot of “green” notes maybe vegetal or grass, maybe green pepper. The flavor profile was great. Very bright! Get that cooked agave, maybe jalapeños, pepper, citrus, and finishing with that heat.
Nose: Nice balance of cooked agave, vegetal, anise and mineral notes, ethanol is there but fades after a few minutes in the glass Palate: Beautiful and intriguing flavors. Cooked agave, mint, mineral notes with a long tapering finish. For a 104 proof blanco, this drinks like a lower proof.
A whiff from the glass and you’re not sure whether you’ve made a mistake. First touch of the palette and the feeling lingers but quickly dispels. This is good juice. The finish is so pleasant for me. Anise, lawnmower on a Sunday, fresh rainwater, little pepper and it varies slightly with every sip. Great bottle presentation. Looking forward to 2024 example.
Excellent still strength great value, nice heat but not overwhelming, agave note is prevalent throughout, slight vegetal note, subtle sweetness, would buy again
Very interesting nose got some funk. I like it.
A great high proof! Strong nose and great taste of citrus, cinnamon, and pepper.
Read some of the rating here that recommended I let it breath for a little while before sipping. Nose: grass, butter, funk, raw agave, minerality, a bit of ethanol, brine Palate: black pepper, some spiciness, agave, lemon zest, cheesy Finish: pleasant with long finish and some nice heat on the tongue.
Spicy, but tasty, nice agave, grassy, floral, as many have recommended - let it sit/open up! It needs to breath as the taste improves quite a bit after 15-20 mins. All in all solid HP for under $70
I let this rest for about 15 minutes before taking my first couple sips, but I was still a bit overwhelmed with the alcohol and heat. After letting it sit another 15 minutes, I was pleased with the improvement. It has a very pleasant aroma of agave and grasses. On the tongue, I tasted agave, grasses, cinnamon, pepper and mint. Really lovely!
Grassy high proof tequila. Grass flavor and alcohol overpower agave. Great branding for this boutique additive free distillery. This bottle will go into margaritas. Wild Common a better high proof choice for my taste.

Nice cooked agave, grassy, mint, and pepper. I let it open up and it has a nice mouth feel.
