Tried this at Total Wine San Matias tasting. Aroma is highlighted by plum, apple, caramel and baking spice. Buttery mouthfeel. The apple, plum, caramel and baking spice carry over on the palate but cherry really comes through. Tropical fruit and herbal notes follow. Nicely balanced and complex. Beautiful presentation but high price point (over $400) gets it a 3 on value

Delicious but the price point is too high.

On the nose it’s all barrel oak forward, citrus, deep agave. Taste, this is as smooth as it gets, butter smooth with heavy notes of plum, oak, minerals, nice mashed agave. Very short finish with no heat. You can literally sip this all night. Excellent full body Anejo. As for additives I’m not sure what is thrown in, maybe some vanilla, toasted caramel. But it’s not added in a bad way at all. The flavors are very on point. Any whiskey bourbon lover would dig this. Great stuff The only reason it scores lower in my profile is the value to cost. It is not cheap by any means so I had to knock off at least 5 points in cost overall. But if you’re looking for an exceptional very very well blended Anejo. This will make you smile. Sweet, velvet smooth, buttery Carmel , plum, oak, full body goodness. Get some if you find it! You will not be disappointed. Cheers!
