Nose: cooked agave, olive brine, floral, light citrus, and earth Flavor: cooked agave sweetness, white pepper, tropical fruit, green mango, brininess, buttery mouth feel Finish: long starts with agave sweetness and finishes with white pepper spice
Nose- nice cooked agave, loads of cinnamon and banking spices, minerality, citrus like lime zest or rind Taste- agave, anise, citrus, little tangerine type sweetness at the end.
Sept 3, 2023 1 oz sample Nose very nice vegetal smoke agave mint brine a little alcohol which dissipates as it opens up. Palate good Finish lingering warmth which I like Nice legs
Super light neutral start, punch of roasted agave in the middle, and strong minerals + pepper on the back end.
Clean clear look, short legs, strong agave notes and citric on the nose. Flavor is cooked agave, earthy and mineral notes mixed with the agave and citrus. Medium finish with negligible burn. This may get the “smooth” label. No additives detected in the touch test. Solid tequila.
Love this old school flavor Blanco. Notes of white pepper and citrus with a clean and balanced finish. Lots of character in this bottle. A slight tint in color. A definite buy
Really delicious, I've upgraded even higher, since my recent video review. Very unique and a very well made blanco
SMOKEY
I felt like this was a good juice, just kind of fell flat for me, especially in the finish. I think this would be very special in a much higher proof, 48 or higher. It's very unique and something to try!
Another great Blanco from 1414. Amazing story and purpose behind the brand. Soul of the Jaguar
Roar…this is really good. Aroma is agave- earth- pepper. Taste is amazing. Wet agave , earthy mineral pepper with a velvety wetness that has a hint of heat. Finish is nice- wish it was a little longer because it’s so good. Pepper- earthen- agave. Update- week later and this tequila is amazing. Cooked agave- wet earth with a mineral pepper velvet finish with lingering agave with a touch of dirt or earth. Who doesn’t like dirt- we have been eating it since a baby. It’s amazing.
What jumps out to me from the aroma and the palate is agave and mint, a flavor combination that I really enjoy. The finish is one of the longest and most pleasant finishes I've experienced in a while. Add that to the fact that I was able to find this for $45, and you've got a heck of a blanco. The only thing that could make this better is if the ABV was bumped to 43-46%.
Alma Del Jaguar Blanco $59 (USD) @ Sip Tequila Overall: A solid sipper and a good value. Aroma: The cooked agave is set against a back drop of white pepper, a slight bit of minerality, a balanced salinity, and pineapple-lime citrus. A dash of sage and rosemary herbaceous, too. Taste: Mild sweetness, medium viscosity, and a cracked pepper bite. Cooked agave stands out along with mint, orange peel-pineapple citrus, smoke, and a well-balanced minerality. Finish: Lingering cracked pepper with a touch of the citrus peel bitterness.
Very enjoyable. Another solid tequila out of 1414. Light citrus and agave.
Most balanced blanco I have tasted. Has a nice hint of smoke that rolls through the background. Excellent!
faint floral aroma, cooked agave. tasting is smooth, sweet, with nuanced peppery bite. clean finish lingering a bit on the back of the palate.
Aroma: Clean Mineral A little astringent Agave Taste:
Osito’s Tap
On palate-Bright , grassy, mild agave, brine, interesting short dry finish, hint of mint and mild jalapeno pepper that lingers
Very green on the nose. A nice peppery heat, with some “green” on taste and then very slight mint. The finish lasts for quite awhile and left me with that peppery, earthy taste at the end… which I really enjoy.
Got cooked agave, minerals, olive on the nose. On the palette cooked agave, brine, vegetal. Finish was medium, mellow, some smoke. Overall it was ok- price point took away some points for me.
First time trying : Aroma- has a pleasant nose. Cooked agave, some citrus, maybe some brine and alcohol. Flavor - enjoyed this one a lot. Every time I sipped, got something new. Got that cooked agave up front , follow by citrus and alcohol ( the alcohol note slowly disappeared as it open up more) little bit of mint and somewhat of a clean shorter white pepper finish . Ready for round 2
Strong spice, good agave, smooth finish.
Cooked agave, citrus, honey and a little brine on the nose. On the palate cooked agave, cirtus, pepper, spice, jalapeño, grapefruit, brine. Light & bright. Nice clean finish.

Strange nose, odd palate. Not for me. Very unique.
