It tastes better than it smells. It isn’t great but it isn’t horrible.

Agave and a bit of alcohol smell. Kinda spicy. I like it sweeter but not bad for a spicy tequila. Starts slightly sweet but this is a spicy tequila. Finishes a bit harsh. Some might like this but it is not my favorite.

I am very disappointed with this tequila. The smell is very bad. Smells like burned tire. I have to say that taste is not so good with only a hint a of agave. The finish is smooth but very little flavor. I would not drink this tequila again.

I know a lot of people don't like this tequila just because it comes from a celebrity, but I like. I get Agave right away, doesn't have that strong alcohol taste. For the price and from where it comes is ok

It needs more to it. Fragrant but loses taste unless enjoying it neat. Its pricey for the taste.

Hated this. Smell reminds me of crappy Raicilla. Taste, is like grain alcohol. Very little agave taste. The finish is short, but that’s actually a good thing as I wouldn’t want this taste lingering in my mouth for long.

El Olor: Cooked Agave and Water. Almost well water. Kind of minerally. El Sabor: Not a bad mixer but barely a sipping Teq. Cooked agave and bright pepper. But also flat and watery. This tequila needs a food substance to pair with it that either punches it up a notch or masks it. El Fin: It’s here and gone. Not a lingering tequila and given the flavor that might be a good thing. In summary this is yet another “Celebrity Tequila” that misses the mark. I’m not sure why celebs feel compelled to play in the Tequila game but (this one is Dwane “The Rock” Johnson) they usually end poorly. There are MUCH better and more authentic Tequilas in the $30 to $40 range.

Not a huge fan of the smell. Finish has a bite that I didn’t care for. Will use it to make margaritas not really for sipping won’t buy again. Too many other better tequilas at this price point.

So sorry to sound dramatic, but for me this tequila is absolutely horrid. It has a terrible smell and taste. I almost poured it out, but gave it away instead.

The first thing I noticed was the alcohol scent, which carries over onto the flavor and finish. It’s still decently smooth, but the alcohol presence is a touch too strong for my taste. There is a nice agave flavor and notes of caramel and oak. For $37, it was more than worth a try and will make excellent drinks, but not a sipping choice.

Wanted to love this tequila but just can’t. Smell reminds me of José Cuervo which is a killer for me. Goes down smoother than expected.

Thanks Martino for the tasting. Aroma is subdued; not good nor bad. Taste is the best part—nice mouth feel with agave, butter and cinnamon. Finish is a bit rough with a lot of heat and pepper going down.

This showed up in my shipment from oldtown gratis, i don’t know if it was a mistake or a freebie for placing a large order. I’m don’t typically buy celebrity tequila and was pleasantly surprised that it’s a high quality product for a lite price $33. Carmel and agave notes on the nose and tongue. It has a long finish with a slight alcohol burn.

Notes of oak and vanilla, but keeping the essence of Blanco. Good nose and good taste, slightly less burn than Blanco and respecting the herbal notes.

Agave smell and taste is diminished compared to the Blanco but an oaky flavor comes forward followed by a slight smokiness. Alcohol burn is decreased and a slightly charred vanilla bean flavor excites the center of the tongue. A finish of cooked agave comes back around and settles in for the night just at the back of the tongue. Well worth the price and the wait.
