Caramel aroma with aggressive Chardonnay-like buttery start then giving way to a blend of mellow notes of lightly peppery agave. The drinking experience is therefore an abrupt contrast, but a pleasing one. If you like smooth and sweet, but don't want to lose all sense of roots, this anejo offers a classy butterscotch thump.
