NOM 1609 | Nice oak presence, notes of caramel and vanilla.. Lacking in the finish.

NOM 1416 | It’s an easy drinking spirit but if tasted blind would be hard to guess it’s a tequila. Although not as artificial as the reposado, there is no agave. Time in the barrel adds another layer so it’s not extremely sweet like the reposado, just very sweet.

Aroma of wood and caramel, no discernable agave scent. Taste mirrors scent. If this were included in a blind flight of whiskies one wouldn't stop and wonder why a tequila was in there. Very bland. (NOM 1416)

The tasting note that’s stood out to me was caramel popcorn. There was a nuttiness, vanilla, and caramel finish that led me to that conclusion. Overpriced unfortunately.

NOM 1609 | This tequila has a good start in both aroma and flavor but it lacks on finish. Nice cream soda or caramel taste mix with cinnamon, agave and butterscotch making it a little too sweet at finish. I think it is artificial sweet

NOM 1609 | I like to think this is the gate way to finer tequilas, the sweet flavor profile meets the American palate. A clean simple bottle has picked up fans quickly. A mass appeal Anejo

NOM 1416 | Cooked agave and nothing else fascinating. There is little to no complexity. Basic tequila

NOM 1416 | Easy enough to get along with, sweet balances heat and the glass is empty before you know it.

NOM 1416 | Caramel and vanilla on the nose, some cooked agave present on the mouth. Smooth, not very complex finish. Overall a decent añejo

NOM 1416 | More of that artificial sweetness/ nastiness. I don't care what the producers say, something not right going on here.

NOM 1416 | Aroma is faint and unrevealing. A little chocolate after a couple minutes in my glass. Again, chocolate is the predominant flavor. Really no heat to speak of. Finish is quick. If you like sweet forward tequila, you might like it. It's not like Clase Azul, but Casamigos brand tequilas are more on the sweeter side.

NOM 1416 | Toasted (hazel?) nut, cinnamon and sherry nose with sweet cinnamon finish and lightweight mouthfeel. No agave aroma/flavor that I can find. Strangely reminds me of port wine in the mouth. Smells and tastes like sweetener.

NOM 1416 | Wow, this is super sweet. Almost too much so. The nose has lots of toasted cinnamon and cake batter vanilla but no agave. The overly sweetened profile won't please the tequila purist, but will probably be popular among inexperienced tequila drinkers. I am also picking up on diffuser-like aromas, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was mixed in.

NOM 1416 | Found this in Idaho on a recent road trip. Very dark for an añejo it has a similar flavor profile to a well known 1416 product, Clase Azul. While it has grown on me a bit since opening, like the other Casamigo expressions, once is enough.

Casamigos has been getting a little shade lately because it's a "celebrity" brand, and there are 'additives' to it. This a great pour, I like it neat, I get notes the agave, oak, Carmel and cinnamon on the nose.... The palate: I get some green apple, salted carmel, light cinnamon, and touch of orange peel at the end with some earthy notes. Bottom line, I truly enjoy this Tequila and I think you will as well.

NOM 1609 | This is better than the blanco or the repo, plenty of barrel notes in aroma and flavor. I can drink this. But why pay this price when you can get a quality whisky or bourbon for much less.

Garbage ABSOLUTE GARBAGE SAVE YOUR MONEY YOU CAN GET BETTER FOR AT LEAST HALF THE PRICE! This literally tastes like rubbing alcohol and vanilla extract and it smells like aqua net hair spray. Worst tequila I've come across. I left the bottle open for a week in my cabinet to let it breathe in hopes of it improving the flavor and I tried it again about two weeks afterwards and I noticed a very subtle difference. It still sucked ass but between the unbearable burning of my exhaling breath I did finally pick up a hint of agave. I wouldn't serve this swill to my worst enemy.
