This has the most balance of the square bottle issues. Agave and oak with barrel spice of caramel, cinnamon and clove as well as some pepper and alcohol.
Appearance is very straw like. N- baked agave, white grape, apple sauce, grass, wet pavement, very complex T- caramelized agave, vanilla cream, baking spice, bell pepper, black pepper MF- medium body F- long spicy fading slightly sweet
Striking nose. Baking spices, plus cardamom, and big vanilla. Bourbon aromas encroach dangerously close to masking the agave. A flinty mineral undercurrent as well. Round full flavor. Loaded with spices, hazelnuts, cherries and almonds. Topped off with a nice hit of pepper. Not a terribly long finish, and somewhat dominated by the bourbon barrel aging.
Too much burn for me
Mexican 38% abv. versión, lote: LT-NCA-02, bottled on 22-JUN-12, tasted on 2-8-24. Color: yellow to dark yellow. Aroma: vanilla & wood note, light maple syrup, caramel, hint of herbaceousness, wood note with vanilla is quite dominating. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, creamy, buttery, wood note with vanilla dominates palate too, cough syrup. Finish is medium to medium long, vanilla, wood note, light caramel, at the end a hint of raw agave note emerges.
Smells like butterscotch and vanilla. Taste real sweet maybe a bit too much, additives? Citrus, vanilla, feels like you have to search for agave. Maybe will use as a mixer.
Aged in makers mark barrels, 3years Anyone who like whiskey!!
Aroma is oak and agave Taste is peppery and rich sweet agave Finish is medium and warm
Very good Anejo, butterscotch on nose , agave with spice on palette with a rather short finish
It's OK. Not outstanding, not terrible. Good price at HH.
Smell: butter, caramel, whiskey, chocolate Taste: whiskey, chocolate Finish: quick heat through the nose the sweet, vanilla, chocolate, linger on the tongue. Great sipper, no chasers needed. Casa Maestro / Casamigos-like but different.
good for whiskey drinkers
Has a bite like whiskey but smooth aftertaste of butter and caramel
Exceptionally smooth, light and sweet
smooth and sweet
Fruity finish Smooth
Very sweet aroma, hints butterscotch
Get whiskey on the nose. Bitter taste in the back of the the throat.
Centinela’s big and historic and knows how to make a great tequila. This is a nice anejo both in smell and taste . Nothing really stands out good or bad , just a nice standard sipping anejo tequila .
Medium agave Spice Slightly bitter
Aged in french and American oak barrels, good for bourbon fans
smooth, kinda sweet. tastes like whiskey which kills it for me. good for fans of brown liquor
Excellent aromatics of cooked caramel and vanilla with oak and toffee Flavours of toffee, caramel come through to start with a light oaky finish
Medium amber color in the glass. Aroma of caramel, oak and a hint of agave. Flavor of oak and caramel. Not overly complex. Light to Medium finish. Price seems high compared to other comparable añejos.

No doubt this was aged in a bourbon barrel. The whiskey notes are strong on the nose and pallet. Light peppery finish, oak and vanilla.
