Great looking bottle, we know what they say. Definite additive, sweet. Respectable flavor profile. Again beautiful bottle. Nice gift

This stuff is certainly unique, I’ve never had anything quite like. Boat loads of botanicals and veggie notes in the distant background, the base is mostly cognacish(I juts made up a word)! This tastes like it’s been watered down or blended with Sotol, it’s really delicate. An oddity worth trying.

Aromas: Unobtrusive woody undercurrents, some smokiness, ripe red fruit, minerals, vanilla and butterscotch. Spicy cardamom, cinnamon and cloves punch up the nose. Coffee note. Flavors: Viscous in the glass and mouth. Round vanilla and light licorice notes. This delivers big barrel notes reminiscent of sweet jerk spices. Finish: Pepper, barrel spices and nutty sweetness.

Bottle has a 2006 stamp on it. Quite spicy and different from the regular Corralejo offerings in the sweetness along with the barrel spice. Cedar wood, nutmeg, some caramel add to the barrel spice, agave and oak. Finish is a little short and with no bitterness.

This has an interesting and somewhat funky profile. I’m getting tobacco, honey, and barrel spice along with the usual oak/caramel/agave found in XAs. There’s virtually no heat on the palate or finish… so little that it seems unnaturally smooth. It’s easy sipping at the cost of depth and body. I can’t say much about the value as the bartender was kind enough to give me a free pour. Memorable, but not mind-blowing.

not too sweet but honey notes are present. I went average for value as it was a gift brought over from Mexico and unsure of money spent.
