Aroma of agave, cracked black pepper, vinyl. Flavor of agave and up front burn with slight black licorice, cotton candy, and white pepper. All flavors are well balanced but subtle. Expected more but is ok for what it is.

Only had a small taste and will need to revisit, but the first impression was very nice. Revisited: more smoky and earthy than I remembered. Very interesting.

Tried neat at a restaurant for USD10. Poured into a small wine glass. Nose: very faint, perhaps due to glassware used. Flavor: agave, some yeast, light fruitiness. Pleasing and light. Unoffensive.

Aroma : Bright cooked agave, light fruit, grass, and black pepper. Taste : Medium bodied with agave, cinnamon, and citrus predominating. There are some undertones of earth and pepper too. Finish : Medium length with a bit more cinnamon and pepper spice. Good stuff, I'm happy to finally find a bottle of this.

I found a vegetal, sweet cooked agave nose with light pepper, light anise, fruit, light smoke and citrus. Taste of earth, citrus, sweet argave, pepper, fruit, not too smooth and it's right where you want actequila to be.

Alcohol forward on the nose, hints of sweet grass and citrus. Sweet up front, agave forward flavor, and a bit of heat Smooth sweet finish.

Agave forward nose as well as taste, on point for a blanco. Finish lingers nicely.

This review is partial review and partial contrast to the Siembra Valles. The Siembra Azul has a slightly better nose. There is more of the green agave and less of the mineral. The taste is brighter and crisper. There is more citrus but plenty of agave. The finish is about the same, excellent. I rated the Siembra Azul slightly higher but both are wonderful choices. Salud!

I would have rated this a bit higher if I didn't have to strain some floaters from the recently bought bottle. I thought at first it was some flock that had precipitated out in the less than 60° F. storage area but it didn't disperse after shaking. I filtered the whole bottle and it hasn't returned. This blanco is on par with 7 Leguas or Tapatio or Herencia Mexicana as far as agave fruit and white pepper on the tongue and in the mouth. More info on the label than even Ocho, listing yeast and distillation notes.

Tasted blind after aeration. Smells of alcohol, green agave, and an initial hit of rubber that dissipates after opening up. Clear in the glass, with slow legs and few pearls. Medium body in the mouth with a spicy entry. Flavor of grass and butter. It's spicy with the slightest sweetness. The spice lingers nicely, but it's not as big as the entry. This is nice, an enjoyable sipper, but for $46 there are better options out there.

Nose is cooked agave, alcohol, vegetal grassy notes. Taste is agave, herbal, grassy and cooked agave. The finish was a bit light, flavors quickly vanished leaving me wanting more. This is a great Blanco, I did enjoy the Valles expression a bit more.

Agave forward light and refreshing with a minty coolness. A slight melon sweetness on the finish with a hint of olive

Grassy smell with a little hint of ethanol. I wanted a stronger taste, but the agave is there but it is muted. A small black pepper finish. A little disappointed for the price.

Close to perfection in a blanco. Rich minerality and agave notes on the nose that come from "the highlands" or altos region. Smooth and velvety on the tongue with great balance and a hind of citrus and pepper. This is my kind of blanco tequila.
