On the nose it’s agave and citrus… lots of citrus. Silk mouth feel with beautiful beautiful taste. If anyone has ever had green chartreuse or a Piña verde cocktail…. That’s what this reminds me off. Herbaceous with citrus, pineapple. Amazing! I’ve never had any tequila remind me of a cocktail.

Very nice. Loads of cinnamon, vegetal, and earthiness on the palate. With little mineralogy and pepper on the back end

On the nose, very vegetal, and robust agave notes. A little bit of smoke but more like burnt wood, lots of minerals and earthiness. A bit of an herbal quality. On the palate, just rich agave for days. That light smoke is there, lots of minerality. It opens up and the earthy, vegetal notes mellow out a bit and there’s a nice spice to it. Very oily, full bodied, and finish for days. This is excellent. Truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The price is up there for sure, but I’d say this is one of the best of the bottles in that price range. At 46%, they struck a perfect balance between extra heat and flavor, I think this may be a damn near perfect expression of blue Weber goodness.

Caballito Cerrero Blanco Lote B.E.03-08 (? hard to read) Tasted 06-2020 Where tasted: el Grito Taqueria, Seattle NOSE: Floral pepper anise agave alcohol Got some complexity TASTE: Grassy vegetal cooked agave FINISH: Lingers with some cooked agave a little pepper and slight heat. OTHER: Agave Distillate. No NOM on bottle. Bartender was selling it as a mezcal. If i was doing a blind tasting, I'd say it was blue weber agave = tequila! Let this one open up. It gets better and sweeter with a little time (not fake sweet tho. In a good way sweet). This doesn't have the heat u might expect from a 92 proof. Very good!

Cooked agave, smoke, grass, well water, cinnamon, minerals, citrus, lime, tropical fruits, celery, mint and rosemary. Palate includes all the aromas plus tangerine, melon or mango, and cinnamon. Finish is warm medium , sweet, lite bitterness, spices, cinnamon and little pepper. IMHO one of the three best blanco I like as of 4/2021.

One of the best blancos out there. It’s not easy or relaxing to drink, so many flavours jumpt out at you but they are so great.

Aroma : Tons of grass and agave on top of some notes of citrus, ripe fruit, and pepper. Taste : Super vegetal flavor that somehow manages to have more grass and agave than the strong aroma would let on. The sweet and vegetal notes are balanced out with some black pepper spice and a small amount of bitterness. Finish : Long and fruity with a pleasant heat that reminds you of the extra abv. This isn't technically considered "tequila" but an agave distillate. I don't typically spend a lot of time around mezcal, but this has certainly convinced me that I should.

New label 'Distillate' - One of my favorite high-proof Blancos on the planet. Giving me amose of honey, spices, cinnamon, smoke, earth, lemon citrus, mint, light vanilla, celery an almost Mezcal presence. This follows through on taste. A nice cinnamon heat going out.. an absolutely stunning traditional tequila.

One of the best blanco’s I have had in a long time. The high alcohol can’t be detected. Delicious cooked agave, light pepper, citrus notes. Love the nose!

Agave, mushroom umami, rosemary, buttered popcorn nose. Entry is a blast of herbs and spices, with rosemary, thyme. and black and white pepper burn spreading around the mouth. Medium length finish, with some anise bitterness, pepper, and a mild pop of mint, very nice. Finish could be longer but that's a minor quibble.

I’m in love.....this is exactly what I want all tequila to taste like, shave forward at every twist & turn. When I close my eyes I swear I can taste the soil it was grown in! A bit of marshmallow and poblano in the finish, which just keeps lingering on and on.

Note: This is the old Colored Label bottle. Crazy vibrant nose! Cut grass, earthiness, minerals, intense fruit, with dill/rosemary herb notes, and pepper. Pungent mango, ripe peach, licorice and loads of slow baked agave. A floral aroma that has an interesting light shellac note to it. Flavor: Agave, pineapple, melon, pepper, anise, a hint of resin like bitterness, and a woody vanilla note. Oily and totally mouth filling. No cookie cutter here. Finish goes on forever. A warm medley of tingling spice and pepper, buttery fruit and super ripe agave. A remarkably balanced high proof sip, that tapers off with French salted almond cream luxuriousness.

Served in a Reidel - grassy and citrus on the nose. Explosion of pepper and agave, with a balanced heat that closes smoothly and with some complexity, wonderful mouth feel. A beautiful example of old school Tequila.

There's just sumthin' about this juice! It's what I imagine the juice tasting like if you were out in the middle of tequila country ,a long time ago, and you meet up with a local who shares his jug of tequila with you.....If you know where to get this, then you probably already know the story behind this label , and you probably already know how good it is. Tons of cooked agave and pepper and vegetal goodness and everything else that a great blanco should have. Thank you Sir, may I have another?? !

Probably one of the best blancos I've ever had. A burst of clean toasted agave on the nose. Celery, mint, licorice on the body. The finish goes on and on in a soft yet strong way due to being 46% and ends up working back to the tip of your tongue. Such a pure representation of what a blanco should.

Aroma: Very vegetal. Lots of grass, snap peas and raw agave. Slightly medicinal but not overpowering. Most likely because it's high proof. Flavor: Slightly metallic. Still getting a lot of grass and vegetal notes and finishes with raw agave. There is also a lot of pepper and not overly hot for a high proof tequila.

Sampling this thanks to a friend. Wow Wow Wow!!! Funny to say this but at 92 proof this blanco tastes like some 100 proof tequila I have tried recently. I think when well done the higher proof brings more flavor and aroma than is ever possible at lower proofs. The alcohol never overpowers or hides the strength of the agave in this tequila.

Nose: Strong raw agave aromas, mineral, mint, citrus, grass, earthy. Palate: Agave forward (it’s a bomb of flavors), mint, mineral, pepper, lime, earthy, anise, grassy. Finish: long! Overall, amazing blanco! A must buy! Bought in San Antonio, Tx for $64
