Agave, pepper, alcohol, herbal, earth, apple. Maybe for mix but not a sipper IMHO
No nose, underwhelming taste, hot finish. It was in the well and I had it added it to a Bloody Maria. Served its purpose as a mixer. Not a sipper. Good value for the price point I reckon.
Nose: Sweet cooked agave entrance with cinnamon, and earthy notes. Hints of ginger snaps. Flavor: Pronounced hit of sweet agave and finely ground black pepper. Spicy cinnamon. Pleasant burn. Bitter finish. Mexican 38% version weighing in at $200 pesos. Heck of a bargain.
One of the better bargain brands with some creamy roast agave in the mouth.
Agave, fruit and pepper on the nose. Light agave and big pepper on flavor and nothing but pepper on finish.
Nothing super memorable here, but not bad either. Good for *whispers* shooting more so than sipping.
Every time I try this tequila it is different, so there are some consistency issues. In the current version I am getting that typical cake batter and vanilla thing going on in the glass after it sits for a bit. Swirl is around and it is more like a typical Los Altos product (floral, pepper, minerals.) But then let it sit and smell it again without swirling and the vanilla is back.
Mexican 38% abv. versión, lote: LLAB1215817, bottled on 10-06-2021, tasted on 4-25-24. Aroma: cooked agave, a hint of brininess at the beginning that dissipates, light acidity, light earthiness, after 20 minutes in the glass a light fruitiness and light citrus aroma emerges. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, alcohol sensation is slightly higher than its 38% abv., good sweet sour and acidic balance. Agave note is sweeter on the palate. Finish is medium, cooked agave with a hint of sweetness, hint of fruitiness, light acidity and a hint of earthiness persists but not too long.
it's a mixer, that's it. it has a solid agave-forward hit at the front of the pallet, but then dissolves to heat and that about it.
light sweet nose, not bad taste but little agave and it is hot with poor finish, wouldn't recommend
Well…I must really enjoy tequila. It was not as bad as I was expecting. Aroma is tequila- agave does not come out- it’s all alcohol with hint of pepper. Palate- actually more what’s in my mouth- alcohol, and hint of agave. Finish- yes- glad I’m finished.
Super smooth, nice finish. Tried this tequila at room temperature with a splash of lime and soda water back. Extremely smooth, little to no “bite” to the shot in the aftermath
Buttery. Agave forward. Rachel said tequilaeee
harsh burn
It’s toooo smooth I tried it on my margarita and I can’t taste it definitely a sipper alone !
$20 bottle that is better than some $40-$50 bottles I’ve had. Probably better as a mixer, but not terrible to drink straight.
Excellent if you like it spicy and peppery, which I do.
Just boring.
Pepper, farmhouse, green forestry, agave. Clean agave, easy drinking, pepper. Quick and easy finish, evaporates into nothing quickly.
No deja nada en nariz y boca, prácticamente como agua
Thank god for mini's. Stay away from it even at a low price point.
Aroma: minerals and agave Taste: pleasant and easy to sip Finish: short, but not unpleasant Overall: I would drink it again.
pleasant aroma with a fine pepper finish that stays a bit too long. alcohol detected, vanilla, pepper, a hint of agave.
One of the best Blancos for under $30 in my opinion, definitely alcohol-forward but has some agave. Low end but viable sipper on a budget, would make a great well tequila.

Common budget brand. Maybe for cocktails, but alcohol forward and lacking agave flavor. Tasted at Tanger Whiskey Fest
