NOM 1438 | Aroma: vanilla, agave and alcohol trend to medicinal smell. Palate: sugar and agave mixed with herbal, grass and vegetal. Finish: very sweet, mint, and agave.
Nom 1489 apparently a mixto?... Well it's a darn tasty one then!... Tad thin but smooth. Taste is similar to Alacran?
I don't think it is 100% agave but it's drinkable
This is good. Real good. But I'm drunk.
NOM 1438 | Very peppery and cooked, not quite burned.
Heavy on the alcohol smell and burn, but one of, if not my favorite in this price range. Tastes like a much more expensive tequila. I always buy a couple bottles when I see it available. Hard to keep in stock in my local stores. I sip this on the rocks.
NOM 1438 | The alcohol taste is definitely the first thing you notice. Then the other flavors like vanilla and pepper join in.
By far my favorite sipping tequila. The oaky, vanilla notes are evident and goes down smooth and creamy. I prefer not to mix because I love the flavor but it works wonderfully in an expresso martini.
NOM 1438 | Subtleties
smooth with a big ice cube, agave, vanilla, oak, pepper. not super complex but easy sipping. finish is quick but with faint citrus notes. great value for the price.
Good aftertaste. Aroma is mostly alcohol. Flavor is good.
smell- barely there, agave taste- light overall, pepper, agave burn- med (throat) really light smell and taste more burn than taste
NOM 1460 | Enjoyed this better than previous NOM, rating from memory: A bit more spice but relatively the same. Sweet and easy to drink with a medicinal finish
Alcohol smell though pleasant, nice smooth taste with little burn.
Initial hit of vanilla aroma, almost artificial. That artificial vanilla continues to the flavor. Medium-light finish. I'm guessing additives.
NOM 1438 | Unenjoyable
NOM 1438 | Smells crème brûlée and nice finish with some light peppery
Bland and boring. Alcohol is most noted flavor.
NOM 1438 | Ummm…additives. But a tequila that didn’t go too far with it. This is hopefully a gateway out of the super over-the-top syrupy tequila train.
Worst alcohol I’ve ever had. It tasted like some kind of cough medicine. Never again and a waste of $40.
This is my absolute go to for sharing with friends
Very good…and the bottle floats in the pool. This is the perfect tequila to introduce to the less experienced tequila drinker who only drinks tequila in margaritas to a reposado that is simply good to sip on. It’s not as complex as some of the other reposados for the same price, but I would put it in my top 10 ALL. DAY.
good for sipping, when shooting it burns. better than Parton
Nice bottle, but very ho-hum notes of oak and agave. Bitter tasting. Not a pleasant experience.

NOM 1489 | Great off the nose, peppery roasted agave. Complete rocket fuel, my tongue is still tingling from all the alcohol! Spicy, long finish.
