2011 Mexican 38% release. Nose: Fruity, floral and oak start. Followed up with agave, vanilla, cherry, cinnamon and a hint of lactic. Flavors: Heavier oak comes through on the palate than presents on the nose. Vanilla, barrel spices medium pepper and some bitterness. Finishes with Butterscotch and pepper. 2011 price was $450 pesos.

Old bottle, 15 years or more. Very strong floral notes from the French Oak aging. In the mouth it is quite spicy and not unlike the original Milenio issue with the FO dominating at first but as it fades to a slightly bitter finish, roast agave comes through. From a time when Cuervo et al could make good tequilas. 05012018

Rated blind. Twice! Same score. Cuervo can make great tequila when they want to.

Nose has hints of caramel and butterscotch. Color is a dark amber. Flavor is not nearly as appealing as the aroma might imply. Has a harsh bite and a quick finish.

Aroma is oaky agave and pepper- slight vanilla and Carmel. Taste- starts out peppery with agave vanilla and Carmel with an oily sweet finish.

bit heavy of french oak/whisky influence, some nice agave and spice flavors, longer finish and some nice smoky pepper at the end

Vanilla and caramel strong. Woody, whiskey in flavour. Very smooth. Affordable pricing for a regular drink.

I had this at a Mexican restaurant and like 1800 repo and blanco, but this one was not complex and had more alcohol bite than smoothness expected in an añejo. I have experienced this weird issue with some other brands and it might be an issue of blending barrels with some younger juice in the blend. I need to revisit this one to see if it was a one-off experience.

Heavy whisky flavor. Good deal for the money. Prefer more Agave but not bad.

Vanilla and honey notes that are over powered by barrel flavor of Canadian rye whisky

Marbete from 2003, rear of bottle states: 033 03 308 19:11 B Color is dark brown. Nose: vanilla with warm wood spices, light caramel & toffee. Palate: vanilla, warm wood spices, bourbon sweetness, cooked agave is barely perceived, Finish is medium to long, vanilla, caramel & wood spices persist.

Really nice tequila. Has more of a whiskey feel to it though which is a bit confusing. The oak and the caramel with the vanilla is nice on the palet.

Seeet and oak forward nose. Strong caramel and oak palate with agave aftertaste. Medium finish, coats the palate nicely.

Beautiful color, long tears flowing down the glass, Pleasant aroma, smooth feeling on the mouth, one brand that got a step away from "high production facility" taste from pretty much all Casa Cuervo products, I do recommend this sipping pleasure
