The nose gives proof of additives and it tastes of additives and there are additives on the finish. It’s affordable but if you care about agave don’t buy this product.

Aroma of agave and black pepper. Slight rubber. Pretty basic but not bad, especially for the price.

Definitely on the sweet side, toasted almond and brown sugar. The good thing is that product can be found just about anywhere that serves booze and it will do in a pinch

The only thing that comes to mind about the aroma is rubbing alcohol. Maybe the slightest notes of agave and butter but that's a stretch. The flavor follows suit...mostly nondescript but leaves a strange texture in your mouth. Almost that strong tannic sensation you get from a big Zinfandel but not nearly as pleasant. Virtually no finish. It's just gone. But, that might be for the best.

Aroma is alcohol predominant with agave and some pepper Flavor is alcohol forward, but agave is there. I got a hint of mint on the finish. Was very thin and watery in the mouth. Finish was average. Overall one of the better mass marketed tequila I have tried.

Alcohol is dominant with some agave in between. Not complex and i feel a weird unappealing sweetness with the alcohol. Not a throw away garbage but not good. Does agreeably well in cocktails where it isn’t the main player. Overpriced at 34$

This is not the worst tequila I’ve ever had, mainly because Jimador Blanco exists.

LOT - 104178 View: totally transparent, tears practically non-existent and quick to dilute. Freshly served: Aroma: very discreet, difficult to perceive. Slightly cooked agave. Flavor: herbaceous, cooked agave, lemon. Very light, not too much complexity I let it rest for 10 minutes. There is not much change, the aromas and flavors remain very discreet. I decide to rate it a 67.

knew I had to manage my expectations, drank it because they had anything else, something is just off, to artificially sweet, not balanced, too many edges, ethanol meets sweeteners, are additives allowed im blancos? seems like yes, additive bomb, all in all I assume it’s textbook diffusor garbage, enjoy

Faint agave flavor and smell, floral smell brushing by in the wind, but everything is masked by the strong smell and burn of rubbing alcohol and chemicals. I also detect a moldy sock smell, but thankfully I didn’t get that flavor too!

Blanco, Mexican 38% abv. versión, L 005 13, marbete is from 2011, tasted on 10-16-23. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, slightly herbal, light acidity, minty & fresh. A touch of black pepper. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, on the mouth the agave feels raw and green. Finish is medium, raw green agave with a touch of black pepper spiciness persists. After 1 hour I sniffed the tequila and the sweetness has become more similar to cotton candy, unnatural.

I overall find it pleasant but very bland and flat. It’s great if you need to make a margarita quickly and cheaply almost anywhere. It has a very artificial finish that I’m not a fan of

Blanco Tequila: The Great Divide

While the panel’s favorites were complex, elemental and intriguing, we were troubled by a lack of intensity in many of the bottles as well as by a sense of artificiality in some. As Florence put it, we found a great divide between those tequilas we liked
