I let it sit a half hour. made from their repo. nose and flavor are subtle, as I'd expect from a cristalino. You really need to get ur nose in the glass. Swirled it and got some vanilla notes, mild agave, some tropical fruit, peaches? and a faint smell of alcohol, which I thought was weird for a cristalino. It's drinkable, but not my profile. the blanco is better, and for the price difference, I recommend the blanco.

My first dabble into Cristalino and it wasn’t terrible. Little bit of sweetness on the nose, easy palate and finish. Tried this at a tasting but wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase a bottle.

This Cristalino is created using Authentico’s Reposado tequila. It’s then filtered and no additives are used. This is one of the few additive free Cristalinos. The tequila is clear in the glass and it has nice legs and tears that form. The nose is very soft and clean. There’s a light floral note that sits at the bottom. This is an interesting sip. Up front I get some natural sweetness from the agave but not much flavor. Then on the mid palate some light floral flavor starts to arrive just before some light pepper. Overall I’d say that this tequila is smooth! The Reposado is light but flavorful but once it’s put through the natural filtration process it becomes absolutely smooth. It’s clean and tastes additive free. Anyone can sip this Cristalino neat! It also has a very affordable price tag. My score isn’t indicative of this being a sub par product. It just isn’t scoring well for my personal preferences. There aren’t any flaws detected.

Overall muted, which I’d expect from a cristalino. A little sweet but not too much. Nothing offensive though, like other cristalinos that have to add a bunch back in to cover up the monster they made. This would be a good shooter, but that’s not my style. I’d rather sip the regular Reposado before filtering.

I’m not typically a fan of cristalino, but this one at least isn’t using additives to make it taste sweet. Very subtle nose on this. Tastes slightly sweet with some vanilla and strawberry characteristics. Very fresh and light which is a big improvement over most of the heavy, cloying cristalinos out there. Can see this being very popular among discerning cristalino fans, especially at this price point.

Sample 3 from Greg REPO CRISTALINO Diminishing aromas with each successive expression. I’m getting an aftertaste on all 3 of the samples.
