Wasn’t Expecting much from a 35 ABV tequila. However, it is made at 1414. The nose is light. Probably because of the 35 ABV. The palate is very tasty. Nice agave up front. Nice vanilla and caramel notes. A little black pepper and a touch of jalapeño. The finish is very nice and long lasting for a low ABV. This tequila has very few ratings and I am not even sure it is available in the USA. However, it is really nice and I wish I knew where I could grab a bottle. Unfortunately, I do not even remember who sent me this sample.

Cooked agave on the nose not to much tho, the wood aromas overpower the cooked agave a little bit. Cooked agave on the pallet with no burn at all. There’s a sweet cinnamon and wood chocolate note that is buttery and creamy. There’s finish it were it lacks complexity, is a very short finish probably due to the low 35% alcohol volume. Is an easy sipping tequila that cost me around 50 dlls in mexico. For this price I will not buy again unless they bring the alcohol volume up to enhance the flavors.

Tasted in Chisolm Trail Jarrito Aroma: Everything was faint. Light Vanilla, Agave, Oak, Caramel and Cinnamon Taste: Stronger Black Pepper Flavor that over powered a sweetness with a little Oak and Vanilla. Finish: Quite Bitter on the finish
