Bottle No. 3A 39,167 Medium Gold in color Thin consistency, fast legs. Slightly warming initial nasal impact. Butterscotch, oak, cooked agave, cinnamon and pepper on the aroma. Watery mouthfeel with mild alcohol. Caramel and honey are dominant on the palate. Cooked agave, cinnamon, pepper, vanilla, barrel spice and oak follow. There is a hint of unbuttered bran muffin on the retro nasal. Short finish with a lingering sweetness reminiscent of a bourbon. Almost drinks like a budget anejo, being how barrel forward it is. This is good for bourbon drinkers entering into the tequila world. For around $36, it's a budget friendly additive free reposado (although a bit too barrel forward for the kind of repo I prefer) but worth a try. I give this extra points for value, which just brings me to my 80 score.
Lower tier sipper with good barrel notes. Better than some of the other brands in this range
Nose fills with Caramel, oak, agave, vanilla and ethyl. The taste for me is more of the same nose with Caramel, oak, agave, vanilla, pepper, earth, minerals, bell pepper crispness, ethyl and chilli pepper? Not a bad sipper for the price but doesn’t wow me, I’d recommend it but wouldn’t buy it again for myself if I can avoid it.
NOM 1109
Aroma of cooked agave and vanilla. Flavor of cooked agave, black pepper, vanilla and oak. Medium finish.
Smells exactly like McDonalds apple pie, takes me back to when I was a kid. Medium sweetness with agave clearly present, a tad outside my sweet spot but a good effort. Short ending with lots of caramel & vanilla.
Interesting at a reasonable price. This one will fool you with a nice agave , oak, flowers and vanilla on the nose. Pepper, caramel, oak and vanilla on flavors. Finish with lots of agaves and vanilla.
There is quite a bit going on here. The aroma is really pleasant with butter, butterscotch, vanilla and brown sugar. Very sweet, floral smell. The taste is buttery, minty and woody. The finish is somewhat bitter and some sort of solvent that i can’t put my finger on, but opens up and mellows the longer you leave it. Solid juice, but nothing too spectacular. Great price.
There is a lot going on with this reposado; agave, wood, smoke and floral. The modest finish is somewhat bitter with a touch of heat. I loved the aroma, but the flavor and the finish were rather ordinary.
Aroma of butterscotch with underlying chemical smell. Hint of mint and agave along with sweet butterscotch in flavor. Taste is thin and finishes quickly. Decent for the price but nothing special here.
Purchased at Old Town Liquor & Deli
NOM 1614 | Aroma: agave, vanilla, white pepper Taste: agave, oak, caramel, white pepper, & vanilla Finish: quick with agave & oak lingering Overall: good budget reposado ($29) will be used for cocktails.
Great Starter, to mix
NOM 1614 | Vanilla and agave on the nose, a little spice. Agave is more forward on the taste while the vanilla takes a back seat and the oak comes out. Some alcohol that strengthens on the finish as does the pepper, I get some bitterness here and it detracts. Value is pretty decent, there are better but overall not bad.
NOM 1614 | Value is the real winner here. Decent aroma, flavor, and finish and at a very reasonable price compared to anything else this smooth.
Strong cherry flavor. Bitterness but good price. Not bad at all
NOM 1614 | Lots of agave, some spice, ok finish. Not a good sipping tequila.
NOM 1614 | Oak/vanilla/alcohol on the nose. Tasting notes of cooked agave, oak, smoke, and slight vanilla
This bottle came from Nom 1522. Aroma is nice with hints of vanilla, caramel, earthy minerals with steady agave. Palate is also nice. It’s a good tequila that I would say is above average but not in the ranks of top tequilas. Agave with vanilla and caramel hit first with an oakiness that has a slight wet gravel road that hits just right. Finish is good but not enough agave and it is gone pretty quick. Not silky or velvety- just average finish.
Smooth AF
NOM 1614 | Wow! How much do they go for??? This is legit. Yes just a notch too sweet but definitely can let slide. I get clean agave oak butterscotch vanilla and very little pepper and earthy. Man to bad finish ended too sweet it got sweeter toward the very end, interesting. At this price I was surprised
NOM 1614 | Cooked agave, hint of vanilla, green apple, sweet cinnamon
NOM 1614 | Love it in a mixed drink. Don’t forget the agave
short finish and a little light but good mellow sipper without a lot of bite or burn.

Vessel: Glencairn Nose: Carmel, Oak, Almond, Agave, Cherry, Vanilla, Butterscotch Mouthfeel: Light-bodied Palate: Almond, Pistachio, Cherry, Dried Fruit, Honey Finish: Cinnamon, Almond, Cherry, Vanilla, Oak Almond was a common denominator throught my experience with this spirit. I am not quite sure why but took me so long to experience this brand but I am pleasantly surprised and feel that the brand has recieved a harsh critique. not bad especially for the price!
