Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light black pepper, light vanilla, slightly earthy, a hint of citrus. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, earthy & slightly dusty, wood note that is slightly astringent and drying. Finish is medium to medium long, a hint of cooked agave with vanilla, earthy and wood notes persist.
Mexican 35% abv. version, lote: LT003EGBCO, bottled on 02-10-2015, tasted on 10-26-23 Aroma: cooked agave, slightly minty, light herbaceous aromas, slightly citrus, light vegetal. Aromas are all present but quite subtle. Earthy. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, alcohol sensation is higher on the palate, ends herbaceous & slightly bitter. Finish is medium, light cooked agave with herbaceous & earthy notes persist.
Tried this at the L.A Tequila fest, not horrible but not a tequila I would drink on purpose again.

Federal authorities in Jalisco, Mexico, have seized more than a million litres of “irregular” Tequila, the largest raid by health authorities under the “Together against Illegality” campaign.
A press release of the Health Ministry explained that an operation was conducted on the premises of the Tequila Embajador company in the western state of Jalisco.
