Subtle but agave forward & hints of vanilla & oak. Anise, pepper, agave taste that has a great finish
I like this even better than the blanco. The aging adds some oak notes with barrel spice of caramel, cinnamon, and slight vanilla.
NOM 1360. Not made for a while I found this at an online shop in Van Nuys CA and they were willing to ship to WA. Quite pungent on the nose, with alcohol, roast agave and some fennel. Nice viscosity in the mouth with initial sweetness that continues through the finish.
Mexican 38% abv., no lote code seen, marbete is from 90’s, tasted on 3-25-24. Color: very light yellow. Aroma: light cooked agave, raw agave, light anise, light earthiness, hint of dirt, hint of white pepper spiciness, light acidity, hint of citrus. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, flavors feel thin thus ends slightly bitter, and dirt aroma is quite intense on the palate and through my retronasal. Finish is medium to medium long, light raw agave, hint of white pepper spiciness, light citrus and dirt sensation persists.
Melón, honey, agave, sweet fruity profile, grapefruit, caramelízed pear & bit spiced up
