mild oak barrel influences anise fennel charred marshmallow on the palate Finish medium/long 84-85
tried this at the 2023 LATF house party: Blanco- Tropical fruit/Bubblegum, which i love. then citrus and pepper. Nose excellent, Taste is good, finish drops off. I would have given higher points if the finish was better
Nose: Butterscotch, vanilla, oak, cooked agave, pear, cooked green apple, charred barrel, and a touch of mint. Very similar to those Repo but much more distinct and bright. Palate: Sweetness, oak, black pepper, vanilla, and agave. Finish: Pretty simple finish full mouthfeel. I haven’t had many 1123 Añejo’s so it was a treat to try this and add a bottle to the collection. I like it!
Nose: Oak, vanilla, maple, cooked agave, cherry, butterscotch, cinnamon, ripe banana, and nutmeg. Very, very enjoyable Palate: Oak, cooked agave, pepper, vanilla, and cinnamon. Finish: Some heat with a light to medium bodied mouthfeel. Quiet nice.
