A funky malolactic nose, unlike any of the other samples. There is some cooked agave behind the nasal funk along with hints of citrus and minerals. In the mouth there is a nice herbal element and some nice viscosity giving great mouthfeel. Finish lingers and as it fades makes me want more to extend the experience. Tasted blind and rated #2 of the HP samples
High-proof tequilas, once only for hardcore drinkers, are now being released at a steady pace. Why?
Nice nose of cooked agave, slight barrel notes. Vanilla and caramel. On the palate I get sweet agave, light whisky, caramel and vanilla. The finish is a touch bitter but this s is a nice sip. I would recommend.
