Sampled at El Buho Sept 1018
Nose: Oak, pear cider, vanilla and spice and somewhat floral. Nothing offensive but nothing of note either. Flavor: Hot on the entry. Pepper and unaged oak. Some pear and cinnamon. Nothing in harmony.
Nose: Takes a bit to open up. Light oak, fairly fruity and floral, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, almonds and a touch of cider vinegar. Flavor: Vanilla, peppery, citrus rind and significant sweetness. An aftertaste in the sweetness that I don’t enjoy. Finish: Some soapy undercurrents and bitterness, and borderline cloying sweetness.
Nose: Citrus, agave and wet earth. Flavor: Fairly viscous with lots of pepper, some nuttiness and bitter notes.
Tasted this at El Buho tequila store in Tlaquepaque. Nice hints of agave on the nose. Subtle pepper spice along with agave taste. Smooth, lingering finish.
Flat profile Notes of sweet citrus, orange, raw agave, herbal, & minor defects
