Fresh cracked bottle, let open 10-15 mins, nose is very raw & meaty, like a jerky, maybe somewhat musty/earthy but more so like mud or wet dirt, there is some light agave & spice & herbal notes/hiding in there also. On the pallet is much like the nose, meaty, earthy, minerality, wet cement, some agave, black pepper, some light herbal/citrus notes in there as well, has a nice mouthfeel, long finish, very good juice, for a specific palate, definitely a developed one, not a beginner sipper.

Vessel: CT trail HP Jarrito Nose: Pungent Cooked Agave, Salt, Minerality, Mint, Anise,Vegetal Mouthfeel: Balanced/Medium-Bodied Palate: Agave, Black Pepper, Earth, Citrus Finish: Cooked Agave, Starfruit, Minerality An excellent addition to the Entremanos collection. There's so much more going on with this than the standard blanco. Starting with a mint, anise and cooked agave nose and finishing with starfruit and minerality. This is unique and complex!

Mild nose of agave and cinnamon, this has a big burst of flavor on entry. Quite thick, this is the viscosity winner of the samples tasted so far. Root vegetables and earth along with a nice minerality carried by the ethanol make for a nice buzzy finish. Note that this sample has a metal cap which denotes??? Sample 09 of the HP batch also had a metal cap.

Tasted as part of the TMM big blind Very sweet nose of agave and dried fruits. Cherries, bananas, floral aromas. On the palate it is an agave and cinnamon bomb. Black pepper. Touch of vanilla. Finished off with some alcohol but overall a pleasant tequila. I will revisit when I buy this but i thoroughly enjoyed it in the blind

Lote 4-5 high proof. Sample from the Entremanos team. Gracias Alan. Aroma is great with lots of agave and mint. Taste is all peppermint and light vegetal. The backend goes sweet. The finish is all sweet agave.

Wet cement, earth, minerality, floral on the nose. Bright and clear in the glass with lazy adhesion. Thin mouthfeel. Mild sweetness and pepper on the palate, but somewhat one dimensional. Finish is similarly soft and peppery with some alcohol on the backend.

This was blind tasted and was last of the flight. This brand is clearly hyped and tastes a lot like high pressure autoclave and stainless steel distillation.

Subtle smoke aroma. Very strong and agave forward. Lots of flavor and spice. Long finish.

Not a lot going on here to be 100 proof. Pretty basic. Too many good high proof options in the market in my opinion to compete, specially at $74 here in NJ for 700ml. Not terrible but probably won’t purchase again. Hoping it gets better as it sits. Will revisit.

Agave, pepper, and citrus aroma and taste. Lingering finish with hints of butter on the palate. Cost$80 Blend of Lot no. 4 (48.9% ABV) Feb 23’ & Lot no 5 (51.8% ABV) Jan 24’ First night I liked this HP tequila, but wouldn’t rank it in the top of HP. Came back tried again next two nights. I got more of a silky taste with complex minerals and citrus. Lot of complexities but easy to drink, I bumped the original score up by 2 pts.

L EM-HP-001, tasted on 11-4-24. Aroma: cooked agave, hint of raw agave, light minerality, slightly herbaceous, light acidity, hint of sourness, after 20 minutes in the glass the mineral and herbal aromas become quite intense. Palate: confirms aromas perceive, the mineral and herbal aromas are quite dominating, reminds me of Guanajuato agaves. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave with mineral and herbal aromas persist.

Sweet agave is upfront. Higher proof is not too hot or overpowering. Excellent tequila
