Nose: Agave, Oak, Nuts, Dates, Cocoa, Carmel,Butter, Hay, Papaya, Minerality Mouthfeel: Medium bodied Palate: Alcohol, Dates, Cocoa, earth, Finish: Carmel, Chocolate, Honey, Pepper, Thyme Excellent nose on this one, with a bit more spice and burn going down. I get chocolate/cocoa all over this from Nose to Finish. Very sweet carmel and date undertones throughout the experience as well.

I didn't find this to be very complex and not a fan of the flavor profile or lack of depth of flavor.

1st-3rd nights: Nose in glass: minerality, earthy, nutty, cashew, cacao, caramel, very minute brine, light ethyl, oak, slight whiskey, grassy, toast. Sipping: the barrel’s influences helps to ease the transition into tasty Inferno but not by much, it still has ethyl gripping at the esophagus, which the masochist in me is starting to like. Oak, brine, anise, hot molasses, honey, cooked sugar, peppermint, cherry cordial, whiskey, and alcohol. I imagine this what the Amber color palette would taste like. Finish is enjoyable with exiting agave, dried pineapple, minerality, and earthiness.

LOTE01RAG, tasted on 9-30-23. Color: light yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, herbaceous, hay, it has a metallic aroma that is not pleasant, although it softens a little after 20 minutes in the glass but it is still present. Cherry, light orange, light vanilla and light wood note. Slightly astringent. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, unfortunately the metallic aroma is also present through retronasal, good sweet sour and citrus balance. Finish is medium to long, sweet agave with citrus, cherry and light wood notes persist.
