This is my highest rated anejo. The color is beautiful. The nose is well balanced. The taste is a copy of the nose.Rich, agave, butterschotch, chocolate, black cherry, berries, plum, toffee, citrus, fruit, and pepper. The mouthfeel is fantastic.

Glad to see the brand is additive free and overall not bad, but I get a weird soapy taste with it on the back end. I only had 50ml samples so didn’t have much to try.

March 1, 2023 Nose: barrel notes, some caramel, fruit? apple, agave and a bit of raspberry. There's something on the nose I can't quite peg. It gets more complex as it opens Palate: Cooked agave oak pepper barrel notes, some char, maybe some dried fruit, a tiny bit of chocolate at the very end. Nice finish, dry (maybe from the wine barrel influence?) Great legs

Double barreled. 3 months in Bourbon barrels, and 10 months in French oak Cabernet barrels. Deep rich copper color. Nose: Sweet roasted nuts. Dried fruit. Floral. Ripe berry notes. Vanilla, gentle baking spice, caramel and marzipan. A tickle of minerals on the nose. Flavor: The warm up sip brings a balanced pepper, spice and fruity agave impression. Buttery with a touch of salinity that plays off the fruity/floral components. Agave and barreling in complete harmony.

Not much agave if any. I really couldn’t pick out agave notes. Some pepper , yes. Plum berries dried fruit bitter chocolate. All were very subdued. Bourbon roasted corn was the most prevalent throughout and was nice. If you want a delicate tequila and bourbon notes with medium body and medium finish this is it right here.

Lot 2 I really enjoyed the balance and depth of this anejo. All of the casks play well together and with every sip you can find their influence. I highly recommend this.

A fun new moderately priced Anejo. Citrus and agave fragrance. Oak, cooked agave and chocolate flavors. Nice little sipping tequila.

Beautiful copper color from 3 months in American bourbon oak and then 17 months in French Cabernet oak. Still get agave influence in aroma and taste. Pepper at the front, cherry and chocolate at the back. Great sipper! I sipped it with a flan dessert and it was so good!
