Great juice! Really holds the essence of the Agave. Great sipper. Will buy again. update...as I get my hand on other tequilas, my palate and olfactory senses tend to come alive more and more...like reading novels or screening films. I still really enjoy this tequila. I am going to try the Plata next. Still holds well with notes of pepper, citrus, and slight earthiness. the kicker is that it is such a bargain.

Based on my experience with this one, this Reposado is a total bargain. Very light caramel on the nose, very clean on the pallet with hints of cucumber and agave. This is a gentle tequila that is not overpowered by alcohol flavor. I’ve had several bottles now and I have found it to be very consistent. My guess is that there are no additives in this one though the bottle does not state this and I don’t believe TM has tested it yet. I would say Azteca Azul’s Reposado is a poor man’s Tequila Ocho and I say this as a compliment as the latter may be the best Reposado I’ve tasted to date.

Nose is consistent with Blanco, oaky for Reposado & tannins. dry finish.

This is from previous ? NOM 1610 , 750ml , 1 LOTE 002 , 06/05/20 , very pleasant balanced nose of spice & Carmel, butterscotch, agave, pepper, alcohol. Taste is a bit hot , medium length , same flavors as the aromas . Wow all this in a legit budget tequila ? Kudos to all involved . Almost sinful at this low price point . But , the pronounced flavors of Carmel & Butterscotch indicate additives as these are not flavors naturally inherent of reposado tequila.
