Lots of cooked agave, pepper and citrus notes, this brand gets a lot of knocks for their price point. I would sip this again

Tasted at a friends prior to the Seattle Pearl Jam show on 05/28/24. Some funk on the nose and very peppery on the palate. I liked it but the price in WA is outrageous. A strange product which claims the most awarded tequila in the world, after entering every tequila award competition in the world.

LOTE 025TC…, tasted on 11-9-24. Thanks to my friend B.V. for sharing this bottle with me! Aroma: light raw agave, quite herbaceous, minerality, hint of agave fiber aroma similar to Trujillo tahona which to me seemed like an additive, but since this is from NOM1146, I will give it the benefit of the doubt. Acidity, hint of citrus, hint of earthiness. Seems like a tequila produced using half of the agaves from Jalisco and the other half from Guanajuato. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, the agave fiber aroma is present on my retronasal. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of raw agave with herbaceous and mineral notes persist.

Nothing impressive on this one, mineral, vegetal, light cooked agave, mint. Took some point for the price!

Nice finish. Limited aroma and not a strong flavor profile. Certainly smooth with a nice agave forward flavor. Just doesn't have much depth to the aroma or flavor. I'd drink again at the right price point

Really nice vegetal agave flavor. Some yeast notes, bread dough. Solid finish.
