Lote 06 | Classic representation of a valley blanco. Vegetal, agave, brine, olive, herbaceous with a black pepper finish.
Lote 05 | Nose: agave / pepper / earth / hint of cinnamon/ vanilla/ hint of pear : orange peel / spearmint/ floral Taste: sweet cooked agave / vanilla/ cinnamon/ peppermint/ banana / apple/ lime / orange peel / licorice/ spearmint/ tea / nutmeg/ cream soda Finish: cool water / wet and clean / non-viscous mouthfeel/ smooth and easy sipper / lingering agave sweetness throughout the whole taste / nice cream soda and light mint finishing notes on last swallow This blanco is deliciously delicate but still has great flavors and aromas. The sweetness is the big deal here; it’s the predominant taste, but the delicate flavors and balance with the other flavors make this blanco great. There are cinnamon and peppermint notes that are background performers on this stage. Delicate, but delicious.
Absolutely love the nose on this one. Agave and fresh flowers. Citrus and fruits. The taste is fabulous as well. Agave and pepper with citrus and minerals. A touch of flowers and mint. My only knock is the name. Wild Commons sounds English and I think tequila should have a proper name. Won’t keep me from buying it or drinking it though. This is mighty fine juice!
Lote 03 | Absolutely love this blanco! It has great minerality and brine to it. Reminds me a lot of wet cement from a rain storm. Nose: cooked agave, minerals, brine, vegetal, citrus, grass, black pepper, and some earth. Palate: cooked agave, black pepper, minerals, brine, citrus, cinnamon, and vegetal. Can’t get enough of this amazing blanco. One of my favorites.
Lote 05 | A fantastic blanco from Cascahuin. On the nose a display of agave, flowers, fruit, citrus and honey. The palate on this blanco is where it shines the most. Notes of agave, pepper, brine, minerals, fruit(cherry), and olives are apparent with undertones of lime, citrus, and grass. The texture is creamy with an evolving finish. Just when I thought I wouldn’t find something on the sweeter side that I enjoyed.
Lote 04 | Agave, minerals, anise, grass, on a creamy mouth. Very nice.
Lote 05 | Nose: Minerals, wet cement, grass, raw agave, mint Palate: Makes me smile. Black pepper, cooked agave with some initial heat, the viscosity has a perfect mouthfeel, anise, minerals, that Cascahuin touch but nothing is out of line. Smooth, complex and leaves me wanting more. I may finish this entire bottle tonight. Haha Finish: Nice linger but very well balanced. I don’t know how these guys do it.
Lote 04 | Wild Common lotes 1 through 5 are fantastic. This lote 4 follows the rest with big agave, minerals, mint, and great floral notes. This pairs well with scallops, shrimp, and seared sea bass.
Lote 05 | Wild Common lotes #1 through #5 all have the same DNA coursing through their veins. They all flaunt impeccable bone structure from which to create their individual identities. But each lote is fleshed out with different nuances, subtleties and refinements. And remarkably, under Chava’s gilded inspiration, the general trend has been an improvement lote over lote…. And Lote #5 continues on this upward trajectory. A killer nose, is followed up with a full blown agave bomb. It’s dripping with spice and herbs. And a finish that rewards with twists and turns. Honestly, you just can’t pick a loser in the Wild Common lineup.
Lote 05 | Juicy citrusy flavors roll around on the palate and a long sweet finish begs for one more copita! Lote 5 - Excellent.
Lote 02 | Legit juice, proper agave can be found on the nose and throughout the entire taste. It has an odd hubba bubba sweetness going on mid palette that caught me off guard, not bad, just surprising. Excellent finish, knows when to bugger off, this is a real asset.

Lote 04 | NOM 1123 does it again. This agave came from El Arenal and doesn’t disappoint. Classic, bold, and clean. Salud
Lote 04 | Cascahuín Lote 269 (04/08/22) Lote 4-B Aroma: Intensely aromatic sweet cooked agave. Limestone and wet hay. Light pepper and a spritz of lemon/lime citrus. A walk in the forest, the scent of moist earth and fir trees. A veritable herb shelf: thyme, sage, sweet oregano and green peppercorns in brine. But the deep honeyed agave is the standout. Flavors: The flavor components come on more forcefully than the aromas. Silky peppery heat. Buttery, mouth slathering agave in abundance. Mature juicy honeydew melons. A kick of citrus. A hint of mint. Spicy with balanced salinity. An undercurrent of anise and almond. All cylinders are firing and the flavors pop. Finish: This creamy, peppery, agave bomb finish entices you to top off that jarrito, just one more time…
Lote 03 | I was really excited to taste this Lot 3 and it did not disappoint! There was just soo much agave the entire time. Damn near brought a tear to my eye. I gave lot 1 a 92, lot 2 a 93, and this latest lot followed the upward trend. If I knew it was going to be this good, I would have poured a smaller sipper. Oh well.
Lote 03 | This is more a sipping tequila I love it is now one of my top blancos. Earthy ,sweet, a little smoked some where but oily is just right
Lote 03 | Once it sits for a few minutes I feel like the flavors come alive. The finish is amazing. Very creamy and thick. Citrus and minerals. I think I like lot 2 a bit better. But still good.
Lote 02 | This has been a go to lately. Crazy complexity. I love the finish. A lot of creamy honey and citrus notes. Minerals and earth with plenty of cooked agave. I can’t wait to try the reposado.
Lote 03 | LOT 3- insanely good- 92
Lote 03 | Nose: Agave, floral, fruity, mineral, peppery — has it all! One of the best aromas on a Blanco I’ve come across in a while. Taste: Agave, minerals, white pepper. Creamy mouth, with a nice medium-long tingly finish in mouth (not chest), with great legs clinging to my glass.
Lote 03 | Nose: cooked agave, honey sweetness, floral essence of roses, slight herbal, minerals, some light tropical fruit, and the floral aroma of white pepper Flavor: buttery mouth feel, cooked agave, cinnamon and vanilla, ripe fruit, and orange blossom honey Finish: medium finish that starts with some sweetness and moves to white pepper tingling I did a side by side with lots 1 and 2. Lot 3 is my favorite with lot 2 right behind. All of these will/would do good with seafood
