NOM 1610 | New profile ALERT!! The brand has changed their profile so what you want to look for in batch numbers are blanco 1015 and up repo 1022 and up and añejo 1016 and up. Worth a try and you can get the set of all three expressions for under 100 bucks.
Poured after a mezcal, smells fair, sweet agave, lemon zest, pretty black pepper on finish. Solid value for sub $35.
NOM 1610 | NOM 1610 Batch# 1017 Aroma was Fair. Started very strong of ethanol, as it opened I experienced less ethanol aroma and more citrus and agave. Flavor was more pleasant than aroma. Much more agave and earthiness. Finish was pleasant but short. Decent tequila overall. Not my first choice, but would drink it again.
This is the new Confirmed Additive Free Blanco.
Aroma- very citrus forward, some minerality, a bit of herbal maybe sage Flavor- a little thin at first and then it opens to a very herbal flavor Finish-quite herbal, rosemary, not much alcohol burn at first, but it builds the more you sip it. Overall- A good pick if you also enjoy gin. Not very agave forward, but enjoyable.
NOM 1610 | Loving the blanco, it’s really smooth and easy to drink.
NOM 1610 | Socorro Blanco - Tasting Notes NOM: 1610 Nose: * Sweet * Banana * Agave Mash Taste: * Sweet water * Agave mash * Lychee Finish * Too short * Sweet * Fizzles out quickly Verdict * Sweet. Banana, cotton candy, simple syrup is pretty consistent throughout. It is 1 of 2 flavor profiles in the tequila. It is fairly simple and not complex at all. I would only recommend this for sipping as it would be lost in a mix, but it’s also not an exciting sipping experience. I am also torn here as it is certified additive-free, but it leaves me a lot of questions about what part of the process leaves this tequila tasting so sweet. It’s a common theme in their whole line. This is an inoffensive, low-cost tequila, that I would not buy again.
NOM 1610 | Nose is off putting with a medicinal note to it which matches its taste. Could not get past the third sip. Undrinkable for me.
Cloves and cinnamon and vanilla in nose Must have additives , very thin no agave flavor
definately has some type of additive. Great for cocktails, very hard to beat for the price.
Vanilla is overpowering…
In three decades of tequila drinking, only bottle that I have ever thrown away. The vanilla overwhelms everything.
Very sweet vanilla aroma that overpowers the agave. Strange for a blanco. Peppery taste. Slight burn at the finish. I would mix this.
Smells sweet. Tastes sweeter but taste lingers. Good. 6.5/10. Will try again.
Though it’s not confirmed to be additive free or not, this has all the markings of the very sweet cotton candy/vanilla notes that usually point to a non traditional blanco. This is possibly a good Segway for new drinkers or maybe a cocktail mixer so a night cap/dessert glass but it’s a little too sweet for my liking where the agave is lost in the mix of heavy vanilla sweetness. I have the bottle now for guests but definitely not a weekly sipper by any means. Good value “smooth/sweet” tequila for beginners however.
This smells and tastes artificial. The agave is hidden behind butterscotch and pepper. It's unpleasant and seems very manipulated.
Sooo underrated. If you have not had this tequila, go get some. I believe it’s only in Texas but worth the travel if living elsewhere. This is the ultimate sipping blanco. Glad to see someone is not taking shortcuts and offering the best tequila at a price that everyone can enjoy. Also gives back to Jalisco with their case for a case program. Salud to Socorro!
Smells like cotton candy, vanilla and flowers. It tastes like a vanilla bomb with a mild tartness and very slight pepper on the finish. It’s a very different Blanco. Not one I’d have everyday because it’s way too sweet for my taste, but it’s something to enjoy as a dessert pour occasionally.
Love this on the rocks or with lime juice and agave nectar, shaken. My new go-to tequila!
Best Blanco I have tasted in a very long time!! Drinks like an $80 tequila hands down, tough to get that tule of value in tequila now a days. Sweet agave notes, citrus notes and tropical fruits

NOM - 1610 A fair bit of citrus on the aroma, as well as some earthy herbal notes, decent overall if a bit standard. Thin and light on the palate, quite a bit of citrus, some black pepper bitterness, and some alcohol heat. The finish leaves behind the same profile as the flavor, with lingering herbal notes. The reviews lead me to believe there may be some inconsistencies from batch to batch, the sample I tried was quite decent, a solid sub-$35 option for a skinny margarita.
