Sampled in store. Better than anticipated, given where it's produced.

Wow for $40, this incredible additive free tequila is a must try! Wonderful vanilla, caramel, oak, agave notes. Rep for company said they use Old Forester barrels for aging.

vanilla throughout. flavor tastes like artificial vanilla. No pepperyness, mild alcohol finish, but not enough to be off-putting.

Sweetish in my impression. Average finish with alcohol aftertaste. Not my favorite. Not recommended.

Aromas are fair for Reposado but the taste shows artificial vanilla. The finish still has reminiscing vanilla.

I liked the blanco… repo and Anejo not so much as I suspect the use of additives. Overly sweetened nose and palate. I’ll revisit another time but compared to other reposados I was trying this did not hold up well.

New tequila I know nothing about. Slick bottle/branding and accessible price point caught my eye, so I said WTH. It’s sweet vanilla for sure (additives likely used), but it’s pretty tasty. Doesn’t taste too overpoweringly artificial, although it’s certainly engineered for a more mainstream palate. Lump this in with the Casamigos, Villa One, etc. segment... although it’s cheaper, so extra points. I kinda like it as a dessert tequila, and not upset at the purchase. It has a (handsome-looking) place on my bar when I’m looking for something different.
