NOM 1507 Tequila Don Jesus blanco, Mexican 38% abv. version, lote: 01220220, bottled on 18-05-2023, tasted on 6-5-24. Aromas: hint of cooked agave, strong minerality or light metallic aroma, hint of earthiness, after 15 minutes in the glass I smell a hint of aromatic green vegetal note. But the strong mineral/metallic aroma now smells a little bit like stagnant water. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, on my retronasal I smell a whiff of unnatural sweetness with metallic sensation, not pleasant… Finish is medium, light metallic aroma through my retronasal, light minerality with a hint of green vegetal notes persists but not too long.

Simply the best tequila I've ever had. A smooth flavorful taste no with no peppery flavor (which I do know sone people like). cleanest drunk I've ever had if that makes any sense, I could have done taxes and there was not even a little hangover... miracle tequila. I've only had it twice, and it's been hard to find... But I dream about it every year.
