Excellent nose and flavour, this is a great use of oak and blending.

Aroma: very heavy on the bourbon influence. I also get a lot of cherry, cream soda, and vanilla. Flavor: very tame compared to the aroma, not a whole lot going on. There’s a hint of agave sweetness. Some of that bourbon influence appears. There is a slight vegetal undertone. Overall it’s good if a lot of flavor though. Finish: short with a solid burn in my throat and chest. Not something I really enjoyed. There isn’t a balance of agave and barrel that I typically like to see in a reposado. I feel like the barrel adds way too much aroma while not really lending any enjoyable flavor. Considering this is aged in ex cognac and ex bourbon for 7 months, I’d expect a lot more flavor from both barrels.

Overly sweet to me, not enough agave. Loads of oak, caramel and vanilla on the front end. Slight bit of citrus and a little medicinal.

Definitely high on Vanilla and Oak ... some agave. One thing I don't like is the painted stopper. Leaves paint chips on the bottle's lip.

Nice nose up front, flavor is easy like Sunday morning, it goes down with little to no bite. If you like Waylon Jennings you will like this. Value is killer, one to break off for a house full of people knowing accolades are coming

I get alcohol, vanilla, agave and a bit of cake batter on the nose. I’m not a fan of cake batter, so not a huge fan there. The taste was a good solid repo. Lots of agave, vanilla and caramel flavor with a bit of burn on the finish. It was a little smoky. Not my first choice as a sipper, but was very happy to find an additive-free choice in my local supermarket. (In Maine)

I don’t know what it is about this tequila maybe I’m looking for something not there but this is a great one. There are probably additives and other things but this is a tequila I can sip and drink anytime. Sorry but not sorry.

Thin on the palate. It doesn’t stand out at price range and profile.

Virgin oak, they have there own cooperage on site and with virgin oak you get more of that oak influence but it’s softer then some new char barrels . Still missing something but decent repo
